Boomerang Club

Are you a veteran of Great Dane in the Morning! Walk?

Then register for this year's event by Sunday, August 22nd, and know that you'll be inducted into the Boomerang Club (because you've come back, of course!) and you'll receive a special Boomerang Club t-shirt at the event. That way, EVERYONE will know that you've multiplied your fun and your assistance of Great Danes in need.

Raising Funds for Great Danes in our Care

Sure, the Walk is a fun event. And sure, it provides human friends and canine companions an opportunity to get together for some fresh air and exercise. But the real purpose of the Walk is to raise funds to assist Danes in need of permanent loving homes. To encourage everyone to raise pledges to support RMGDRI, we've got some great fundraising prizes this year. If you turn in $100 at the event, your name will be entered in the drawing to win - and every additional $100 you raise, your name will be entered again. Prizes include doggie-related gift baskets, Dane artwork, and more.

Top Dog Club - We want to thank the event's very best fundraisers - and we want you to get extra recognition for your outstanding efforts. The "Top Dog Club" recognizes everyone that raises $300 or more. In addition to getting three chances to win in our prize drawing, you'll receive a commerative fleece hoodie. You can wear your Top Dog hoodie with pride, and proclaim to everyone that sees it that you are a champion for Danes in need.
We are asking that each participant find 10 people who will sponsor him or her on the Walk by pledging $10 each. Encourage at least three friends to participate in the Walk with you. Ask each of your friends to find 10 pledges of their own.
RMGDRI Walk Partners with "Furry Friends Food Drive"
Furry Friends Food Drive is a very successfull grass-roots effort providing support to families and their pets who are experiencing tougher times in the current economic atmosphere. Furry Friends is directly supported by the Food Bank of the Rockies. RMGDRI and Furry Friends Food Drive will be accepting canned and packaged pet food donations at the walk.
General Business Items
All money raised by individuals participating in the Walk will be used to assist in the care and treatment of the Great Danes that RMGDRI fosters until they find their forever homes. RMGDRI is a 501c3 organization. Donations are tax deductible in accordance with IRS guidelines.

An $8 entrance fee to Cherry Creek State Park will be collected upon entrance to the Park.

All dogs must be current on vaccinations and be leashed at ALL times during the Walk.

All walkers must sign a Mandatory Release form the day of the Event.
