The Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue regularly receives pleas from Great Dane owners needing assistance with a major medical expense. These owners adore their family pets and have always managed to give them the medical care he/she deserves, but due to unexpected circumstances, they’re faced with vet expenses that are far beyond their ability to afford. Up until recently, the only option these owners had when contacting RMGDRI was to surrender their beloved family member.

As a result, RMGDRI developed the PAW It Forward Foundation (“PIFF”). This foundation distributes charitable funds to private citizens to directly benefit the immediate physical well-being of Great Danes/Great Dane mixes as an alternative to surrendering their dog to the Rescue.

No owner wants a pet to suffer because medical care is out of reach. RMGDRI’s PAW It Forward Foundation is available to assist owners in covering medical costs beyond the normal expenses of vaccination, spay & neuter surgeries, food and routine veterinary care.
