Hey there, I’m Axle, just your typical Dane…who are we kidding? I’m anything but typical, who wants to be typical? I’m a pretty awesome guy, let me show you…
I’m a ton of fun and I’m always up for having a good time. I may be five, but I’m certainly not slowing down. I’m a great running buddy and I’m never short on energy. There are times that I get excited on my leash and pull, but I’m working with my foster mom using voice commands and touch training and I’m getting tons better. I also love going to the dog park or just the backyard to run around and romp around with other dogs. I’m usually the fastest around my foster home, but I’m not even close in the drooling competition. I like to think I’m a gentleman, and my foster mom says I’m not a slobber machine.
In addition to my incredible speed, I’m a pretty talented soccer player. I have my ball handling skills down and I have great manners (remember the gentleman thing?). I know when to let my family members kick the ball and when it’s time to give up the ball at the end of the night. Soccer tops my list of favorites for sure!
There are times that I may try to resource guard my toys or chews, but my foster mom is showing me that I don’t need to guard them and I’m getting better day by day ~ I mean, getting praised is so much better anyway! I’m a pretty quick learner, especially when there are treats or loves involved.

t about me? I’m incredibly friendly. I do need slow introductions to new people. Once my people show me that someone is okay though, I’m okay, and I will gladly accept any and all attention, be it handshakes or hugs. My foster mom calls me a love bug ~ I will do just about anything for snuggle time.
There is so much to me, you’re just going to have to meet me to see the whole package. Let’s get together for some snuggles and I’m sure you’ll be convinced that I’m the guy for your family.
