Hello! My name’s Daisy. I’m a very sweet 5 year old harlequin and white female Dane with natural ears and a HUGE heart of gold. I’m deaf and blind, but that just makes me all the sweeter if you ask me. My eyes have been sutured shut to prevent infection, but I’m still happy as can be. I’m also recovering from some systemic issues and infections in my toes, but with a little love and care, I’ll be good as new! I don’t do well with small dogs and cats ~ I have a very high prey drive and since I can’t see what the small critter is, I want to chase it. I’m great with kids though and larger dogs. I have a little trouble communicating with other dogs due to my issues, and therefore I can’t sense what they’re going to do, but I am sure with a strong leader I will overcome this. I’m housebroken and crate trained. I’m also trustworthy with free roam, though I do like to counter surf (my sense of smell is outstanding) and if there’s something tempting in the trash, I may get curious and have to check it out. I haven’t quite figured out the leash yet, but if you’re willing to work with me, I think I could be great on it! So what do you think ~ are you looking for a sweet girl like me to complete your home?
