Hey there! I’m Zeus, named after the infamous Greek God of the Sky. Those are some pretty big shoes to fill, but I think I’ve done pretty well so far.

I have impeccable manners. I’m trustworthy with free roam and I’m very quiet in the house. I’ve never had an accident inside and after a little bit of a struggle in the beginning, I’m now able to potty on the leash as well – sometimes a guy just likes his privacy! I love to go for walks and I’m an excellent running buddy. Because I love running so much, sometimes I pull on the leash when I just go for a walk, but if you give me a gentle reminder, I’ll stop pulling.

On one of my first runs, I encountered a puddle and let me tell you what, I hit the brakes faster than you can imagine. I wouldn’t go over it no matter how much my foster mom tried to show me it was okay. So the next day, my foster brother went with us and showed me it was okay to jump over them and now those dang puddles don’t bug me one bit!

I love to be with my foster brother who is a Dane like me and I’ve done great with the kids I’ve met outside my house. I used to have a little bit of trouble with new kids coming into my old house, but outside my house, I think they might be okay! I’m a little leery of all new people, especially men, but with some slow introductions, I warm up quickly.
