Sampson (formerly Manson)

Adopted 11-2-05

Manson went to his forever home with Jorge and Betty and their daughter in Colorado Springs. Jorge is a doctor, so he is in good hands to continue nursing him back to health. Betty is home during the day, so Manson will rarely have to be left alone and they will continue his feedings several times a day. They have decided to use East Springs Animal Hospital, so we know he will receive top of the line care for the rest of his life. The family was so excited to meet Manson that they could hardly contain their excitement! They have decided to rename him Sampson and he will be the only child and spoiled rotten. It was love at first sight and the perfect match.

See Manson's story

Bella

Adopted 11-4-05

Bella went to her forever home with Charlotte, Don, and their son, Tristan, in Colorado Springs. They have Dane experience, so she is in good hands. Bella has a Boykin Spaniel brother named Hank to play with and a cat sister named Tatia who will watch over her. It was love at first sight for them all and she spent her first night cuddling with Tristan, who didn't want to leave her side. Eventually he moved to his bunk bed when he decided she snored too loudly. Bella will be extremely loved and spoiled and her new mom was excited to go shopping and get her a big bed and some toys!

Duke

Adopted 11-4-05

Duke went to his forever home with Jason and Lorraine in Denver. Jason grew up with Danes and is thrilled to have another one in the house again. Duke has two cats to keep him company and he will be extremely loved and spoiled! He looked quite content with his head hanging out of the window as he enjoyed a car ride his first day with his new mom and dad.

Lil Lou

Adopted 11-4-05

Lil Lou went to her forever home with Judy in Denver. Judy has about 30 years of Dane experience and many of her dogs have been rescues, so she is in good hands! Lou has a new sister Yorkie named Xena to cuddle with and her new mom is home during the day, so she will rarely have to be left alone. She will be extremely loved and will live a life of pampering for the rest of her days.

Bruiser

Adopted 11-6-05

Bruiser went to his forever home with Heather and Todd in Colorado Springs. He has a new Dane brother named Argent to play with. They are also volunteers and foster for RMGDRI, so he is in wonderful hands and we look forward to seeing them all at many future events! Bruiser will be very spoiled and loved, just like he deserves.

Nikita (formerly Zakita)

Adopted 11-6-05

Zakita went to her forever home with Julie and Kurt in Durango. They have years of Dane experience and will continue her training and socialization, so she is in good hands. Zakita has a new Belgian/German Shepherd mix brother to play with and her new dad is home a lot during the day. This is the perfect match for Zakita and we are thrilled she has found such a wonderful new family to love and spoil her the rest of her days!

Pullo (formerly Oscar)

Adopted 11-13-05

Oscar went to his forever home with Gary in Parker. He will be the only dog and spoiled rotten. It was love at first sight for them both. Oscar is definitely a man's dog, so he will quickly bond with his new daddy. Gary was looking forward to spending the afternoon watching football with his new buddy!

Apollo

Adopted 11-18-05

Apollo went to his forever home with Steve & Catherine in Parker. He has a new Dane sister named Sassy, who was adopted from RMGDRI just a month ago, and a Miniature Schnauzer named Bogart to play with. Steve and Catherine's daughter will make sure he gets lots of extra lovin' as well! They have years of Dane experience and already have Sassy enrolled in obedience classes, so he is in good hands. Apollo will be spoiled rotten the rest of his days!

Chuwee

Adopted 11-21-05

Chuwee went to her forever home with Jorma and Julie in Denver. She has 2 cats and a new puppy mixed sister named Lucy to play with. They also dog sit for friends a lot, so she will always have lots of canine friends to keep her company. Chuwee's new mom is a vet at Northside Animal Hospital, so she is in good hands and will receive the best care possible! She will be very loved and spoiled for the rest of her life.

Charlie (formerly Bam Bam)

Adopted 11-22-05

Charlie (formerly Bam Bam) went to his forever home with Brian and Stacy and their 4 kids in Parker. Charlie has a new German Shorthair Pointer and a cat to play with! The dogs hit it off immediately and could barely contain their excitement. Someone is home most of the time, so he will rarely have to be alone. Charlie will be very loved and spoiled by his new family.

Dee Dee

Adopted 11-23-05

See Dee Dee's story

Dee Dee went to her forever home with Tony in Englewood. She has a new Basset/Dalmatian mix sister named Shelby to play with. Many of Tony's extended family and friends were there for the placement as well, because everyone was so excited about his new addition. It was very clear that Dee Dee will get all the love and attention a girl could dream of! She will live the life of pampering that she deserves after all she has been through. We look forward to seeing both Dee Dee and Tony at future events as he also intends to become a volunteer!
