Gretchen

Adopted 4-15-05

Gretchen went to her forever home with Tally from the Springs. This will be Tally's first Dane and she is so excited about her new addition. We are especially grateful to Tally for opening her heart and home to one of our older Danes. Tally is a student who is graduating next month and looks forward to spending lots of time with her new companion.

Paris

Adopted 4-16-05

Paris went to her forever home with Ken and Joanne in Lakewood. She has a new sister Bassett Hound named Riblet who talked up a storm and made sure Paris knew who was boss around there. Her new brother Farley is very excited about his new playmate and they wrestled up a storm and ignored Riblet. Paris' new parents have Dane experience so she is in good hands and they will give her all the love and attention a girl could ask for! She is especially happy her new dad works from home so she won't have to be alone much.

Ruby (formerly Ezra)

Adopted 4-16-05

Ezra went to her forever home with our very own volunteer Sherrie and her husband Ryan in Aurora. Ezra has a new brother Dane named Harley who they previously rescued to play with. Sherrie and Ryan's dogs are their kids, so I have no doubt she will be spoiled rotten! It was love at first sight for them all and we can't wait to see Ezra at upcoming events.

Bo

Adopted 4-16-05

Bo went to his forever home with Jesse, Christina and their daughter in Salt Lake City. The entire family drove half way to meet him and they had to take two cars! Even Grandma and Grandpa came to meet the lucky boy. They had a new bed for him in the back of the car and a mammoth size bone for him to work on for the drive home. Bo will have a Doberman sister and 2 cats to play with. It was love at first sight for them all and Bo will be very spoiled!

Ozzie & Sessa

Adopted 4-16-05

Ozzie and Sessa were siblings from a family that moved and they have found a forever home willing to keep them together. Joe and Dawn believe pairs are the best and they originally planned on bringing a second Dane in the family in a few months. However, since two was the ultimate goal, they agreed these two should be kept together. Ozzie and Sessa have
sibling felines and are doing wonderful with mom, dad, both cats, and the fish.

Niki

Adopted 4-23-05

Niki went to her forever home with Lori, Darrell, and their two boys in Fort Collins. She will have a beagle/terrier mix brother named Jake to show her the ropes. The family has owned two Danes previously, so she is in good hands. Niki will be spoiled rotten with more love and attention than a girl could ask for!

Casanova

Adopted 4-23-05

Casanova went to his forever home with Jennifer in Denver. Jennifer is a volunteer, so we look forward to seeing Casanova at lots of future events. He has a new mellow lab sister name Nailah who will keep him company and his new mommy looks forward to taking him for lots of walks at nearby Washington Park!

Saffi and Leyna (formerly Sami & Inca)

Adopted 4-23-05

Sami and Inca went to their forever home with Cary and Chris in Centennial. They are thrilled to have, not just one, but two Danes in the house again. The girls hit it off immediately with each other and will have 4 cats to cuddle with and keep them company. Their new daddy works from home so they will rarely have to be left alone. We are incredibly grateful to Cary and Chris for opening their hearts to one of our senior Danes. They have experience in dealing with elderly dogs and arthritis and will make sure that Sami is as comfortable as possible in her final years. They were equally thrilled with their new puppy, Inca, and didn't care that she was not a purebred. The girls had a bowl full of treats to choose from when they arrived and they will be spoiled beyond belief!

Huxley (formerly Hobbes)

Adopted 4-25-05

Huxley (formerly Hobbes) went to his forever home with our very own volunteer, Katie, in Omaha. Katie adopted her first Dane, Reagan, from RMGDRI and it was love at first sight for them all! Reagan is thrilled to have a new playmate and Hobbes' tail started wagging the second he walked in the door to his new home. He will be extremely loved and spoiled for the rest of his life!

Marilyn

Adopted 4-25-05

Marilyn went to her forever home with Candi and her two kids in Cheyenne. Marilyn has a new rescue Greyhound brother, 2 kitties, and 2 parakeets to keep her company. She started playing right off the bat and made herself at home by drinking out of the toilet. They didn't even care that Marilyn was an older girl and promise to take care of her for the rest of her days and make sure she feels loved and adored!

Vader (formerly Raider)

Adopted 5-2-05

Raider went to his forever home with Bill in Longmont. Raider has a new Dane brother named Amadeus, a Greyhound sister named Asia, and 2 cats to play with. His new dad is home during the day, so he will rarely be left alone and will be spoiled rotten! Raider and Amadeus were instant friends and romped and wrestled like crazy in the backyard and his new dad couldn't wait to introduce his newest addition to his daughters who were coming over later in the evening. Raider will be very loved and adored like he deserves!
