Boom
Adopted
7-1-05
Boom went to his forever
home with Neil and his family in Boulder. They currently own a Great
Pyrenees mix, so he will have a buddy to play with and show him the
ropes. Boom's new mom is a stay at home mom, so she looks forward to
spending lots of time teaching him good manners and spoiling him rotten
with all the love and attention a dog could want.

Rigger
Adopted
7-1-05
Rigger went to his forever
home with Jennifer and Eric in Firestone. They recently lost their Newfoundland
mix and are thrilled to have another (soon to be) big dog in the house.
They fell in love instantly with Rigger and Rigger seemed to immediately
embrace them as his new family as he happily trotted behind his new
mom to follow her wherever she went. He has a stay at home mom now,
so Rigger will get tons of love and attention and rarely have to be
alone! |

Roxie
Adopted
7-10-05
Roxie went to her forever
home with Tracy and Beverly in North Platte. Roxie will be an only child
and get all the love and attention a girl could dream of. Her new parents
fell in love with her at first sight and could not wait to get her home
and spend the rest of the weekend getting to know her. They made a big
trip to Petco in preparation, but already had a few other things on
their list for a return visit, including a gentle leader. Roxie was
so excited she was pulling them all over the place. Tracy and Beverly
are used to big dogs because they had a Saint Bernard previously and
could not be more pleased to be adding another giant breed to their
family.

Juliun
Adopted
7-15-05
Juliun went to his forever
home with Paige in Englewood. Paige is a new volunteer, so we look forward
to seeing Juliun at lots of upcoming events. He will be an only child
and spoiled to death. Paige couldn't sleep the night before he came
because she was so excited to meet her new baby. Juliun looked right
at home as he pranced around his wonderful, big new yard exploring and
wagging his tail like crazy and he graced his new mom with a big Dane
lean and slobber.

Benny went to his forever
home with Colleen. He has a new German Shepherd brother named Wharf
to play with and chase around his big back yard!! Colleen is thrilled
to have another Dane in the house again to surf the counters and will
spare no expense at making sure that he has everything he will need.
She also has experience with abused animals and will help him to come
out of his shell even more and realize that no one will hurt him ever
again. Benny will be absolutely spoiled rotten! Colleen is also excited
to become a volunteer and help the rescue out in any way she can.

Xena
Adopted
7-19-05
Xena went to her forever
home with Colleen in Westminster. Xena has a new German Shepherd brother
named Worf and Benny the Dane, who came from RMGDRI also, to play with!
The dogs in Colleen's house have their very own credit card and are
pretty much spoiled to their little hearts' desire. We cannot thank
Colleen enough for giving both of our babies such a wonderful forever
home. Xena will get plenty of TLC as she recovers from her surgery. |

Mickey
Adopted
7-22-05
Mickey went to his forever
home with David and McKenzie in Highlands Ranch. He basically adopted
his new parents the second he met them and was climbing all over them.
He will be an only child and spoiled rotten. We are incredibly grateful
to David and McKenzie for having such wonderful hearts to open their
home to such an old guy with a deformity. His new parents are in vet
tech school at Bel Rea so their schedules allow them to be home often.
They are fully committed to doing everything they can to make sure he
is as comfortable as possible in his final years which we hope are many!
When Mickey was evaluated by a doctor, we found out that his leg problem
was actually a Valgus deformity he has had from birth. It could have
been corrected if his owners had taken him in for surgery during his
first year, but unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about
it now. He has some joint discomfort which causes him to shake, but
we found out that he really is not in much pain due to the deformity.
He will be receiving Ascripton, which is a mild pain reliever that is
safe on his stomach and liver long term, as well as a joint supplement
to make him more comfortable.

Mariah
Adopted
7-23-05
Mariah went to her forever
home with Ken and Bill in Thornton. Her new daddies were in love at
first sight with their new baby and have decided to rename her "Addie".
She had lots of new toys waiting for her arrival and looked right at
home as she explored her beautiful new home. In fact, she was so comfortable
there that she didn't even bother to get up when we left! It was truly
a match made in heaven and Addie will be one spoiled little princess,
just like she deserves.

Leala went to her forever
home with Ann & Dan in Thornton. Leala has a cat to keep her company
and a new Dane sister named "Gracie" to play with who is 10
years old, but still very young at heart. The family just recently lost
their other dog and are thrilled to have a young puppy in the house
to help fill that void. Leala happily trotted around her beautiful new
yard and her parents had plenty of new toys awaiting her arrival. Leala
is in wonderful hands and will be spoiled rotten.

Koda
Adopted
7-27-05
Koda went to his forever
home with Hillary, Garry and their two boys in Strasburg. His new mom
made him a very special dog bed that takes up half their bedroom! Koda
looked right at home as he explored his new house and yard. They will
be continuing his allergy treatment at Douglas County Animal Hospital.
We have seen a huge improvement in him after switching to Eagle Pack
food and he is already feeling much better with the meds they prescribed.
Koda has two kitties to play with, but will be the only dog and spoiled
rotten.

Chelsea
Adopted
7-31-05
Chelsea went to her forever
home with Janie & John in Thornton. She has a brother Dane named
Bart, who was also adopted from RMGDRI. Their first meeting was at the
picnic and it was love at first sight for them all. Chelsea's new parents
have lots of Dane experience and have also gone through some challenges
getting Bart to gain weight and struggling with food allergies, so they
are the perfect home to nurse her back to health! John is home all day,
so she will rarely have to be alone and there are treat stations all
over the house. We are so happy that Chelsea is finally in her forever
home and know for certain that she will be spoiled beyond belief.

child and spoiled rotten with all the love and attention a girl could
dream of! Her new mommy is home during the day, so she will rarely be
left alone. She looks forward to lots of playtime with the kids and
has already bonded with the dad in particular. They were wrestling and
playing all evening and she follows him everywhere. Gracie has finally
found home sweet home at last!
