Listed below are the Great Danes we have placed this year.

_________________________________

Henry (formerly Hemi)

Adopted 1-1-05

Hemi (now Henry) went to his forever home today with Angela and Chris in Silt, CO.
He will have another Dane/Lab mix sister named Kenya who is just like him to play with! He looked quite comfy in the back of their car on his great big, fluffy new dog bed and will be very loved and spoiled by his new family.

Odin (formerly Groucho)

Adopted 1-1-05

Groucho will be very loved in his new forever home with Kris and Bob in Denver! He also has a new older sister German Shepherd named Jazz who will show him the ropes. The two enjoyed a game of chase around the house where nothing was safe from the wrath of his tail right after he
got there. We also all had to laugh when Jazz suddenly took an interest in a toy she had never played with previously because Groucho started eyeing it.

Bubba

Adopted 1-4-05

Bubba went to his forever home with Tom yesterday. Bubba loves men in particular and is very excited about his new dad. Tom looks forward to taking his new Dane hiking with him. Bubba will be an only child and very loved and spoiled!

Harley (formerly Clementine)

Adopted 1-7-05

Clementine went to her forever home last night with Jody, Amber, and their lab mix, Sunny. Clementine was completely comfortable around her new dad, which was exciting because she was initially leery of men. She and Sunny cuddled on the couch, played tug, and raced around the house as if they had been sisters for life. Jody and his wife even had a Christmas stocking filled with toys and treats waiting for the newest addition to their family to arrive. It was love at first sight and Clementine will be spoiled to death and treated like a Princess, just like she deserves!

Bart

Adopted 1-11-05

Bart will be very, very spoiled in his new forever home with John and Janie in Thornton! They are a Dane experienced family and his new sister, Whitney the Portuguese Water dog, went crazy wagging her tail when we got there because Bart looks just like their past merle Dane. Bart made himself comfortable on the chair in the living room immediately and is very happy that someone will be home during the day to keep him company.

Divot

Adopted 1-15-05

Divot went to his forever home with Don in Wray, CO! He will be very loved and spoiled as the only child and Don is thrilled to have a new companion. Divot seemed to like the miniature horse at his new home. They greeted each other with a nose to nose sniff and the horse is happy
to have someone his own size to play with! Many thanks to Don for finding it in his heart to adopt such an old, wonderful boy.

Reyna

Adopted 1-17-05

Reyna went to her forever home with Renee and Joe in Thornton! She will be an only child(other than a fish) so she will love getting all of the attention. It was love at first sight for everyone and as you can see in the photo Reyna looks pretty comfy with her new parents.

Jo

Adopted 1-17-05

Jo will be very loved in her new forever home with Todd and Maureen! She will have an Old English Sheepdog sister to play with and someone will be home during the day, which means lots of attention. Almost all of the family's previous dogs have been rescued, so we are happy to say she is going to a wonderful family with huge hearts and lots of experience!

Sophie

Adopted 1-17-05

Sophie went to her forever home with Todd, Cara, Brittney, and Devin! She also has a new K-9 sister named Dusty who will show her the ropes. Sophie seemed to fit in her role as the family's caretaker immediately and even had to step in when she felt Brittney was playing too rough with the youngest child. Sophie will be spoiled rotten by her new family and they have Dane experience, so she is in good hands!

Gallatin (formerly Harlem)

Adopted 1-19-05

Gallatin(formerly Harlem) went to her forever home with Julie! Julie is a vet tech and is seeing to it that she gets the best medical care possible. Gallatin is learning to like the cats and will be very spoiled by her new mom. Julie is also a volunteer, so we look forward to seeing Gallatin at lots of future events!
