Gomer

Adopted 2-10-06

Gomer went to his forever home with Dave, Carla, and their two sons. He is the only dog for the time being, but they plan to adopt a greyhound sister for him soon. His new parents look forward to taking him to their sons' football games and he will get all the attention a dog could dream of. He will be very spoiled and is excited to take a trip to the pet store tomorrow to get some new toys.

Belvedere

Adopted 2-11-06

Belvedere went to his forever home with John in Denver. His new dad has Dane experience, so he is in good hands. He will be the only dog and spoiled rotten, just like he deserves. He wasn't so sure about the wood floors, but was all about giving kisses and wagging his tail. Belvedere has really put on some good weight and looked very happy in his new home. He has come a long way from the life of a stray!

Apollo

Adopted 2-16-06

Apollo went to his forever home with Judy, Curtis, and their sons, Zach and Gage, in Lakewood. He will be the only dog and has 2 cats to chase and play with. They have giant breed experience, so he is in good hands. His new mom stays at home during the day, so he will rarely have to be left alone. His new family also has a wonderful vet who will do everything he can to make sure that Apollo's joints are as comfortable as possible as he gets older. Apollo has found the perfect home and we could not be more happy for him!

George Washington (formerly Kane)

Adopted 2-16-06

Kane went to his forever home with Sara and Jake in Colorado Springs. He will be an only child and spoiled rotten. His new parents plan to become volunteers and would like to foster once their new boy has settled into his new home. It was love at first sight and Kane graced them both with a great big Dane lean! He will be very loved for the rest of his days, just like he deserves.

Sam

Adopted 2-16-06

Sam went to his forever home with Richard in Lakewood. His new dad is a professional dog walker and very active, so Sam looks forward to taking several walks a day and getting lots of exercise. Richard is very committed to training and socializing Sam and wants to do everything right! He asked all sorts of questions and will do everything he can to ensure that his new boy gets the best care possible.

Becket (formerly Lovey)

Adopted 2-18-06

Lovey went to her forever home with Lee and Marcus in Cheyenne. She will have 2 cats to play with and her new parents look forward to taking her on daily walks. They drove all the way to Denver to pick up their new baby and could hardly contain their excitement. Lovey will be spoiled rotten and is in wonderful hands!

Wilson

Adopted 2-20-06

Wilson went to his forever home with Kathy in Centennial. He has a greyhound brother named Mugsy to play with and they will all enjoy going for walks every evening. Kathy was fostering Wilson and simply fell in love with his goofy, loving personality. He is very happy there and could not have found a more perfect place to live forever!

Ducati

Adopted 3-2-06

Ducati went to his forever home with our very own volunteer, Ken, in Colorado Springs. Ken adopted his previous Dane, Turbo, from RMGDRI also. Ducati will also have a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix brother and a beagle sister to play with. Someone is home almost all the time, so it will be the perfect place for him to recover from his TPLO surgery! Ken has also generously offered to help with the cost of his surgery. Ducati will be very loved and spoiled, just like he deserves.

Riley

Adopted 3-3-06

Riley went to his forever home with Matt & Melony in Delta. They adopted a Dane previously who was abused and neglected and had similar issues, so he is in wonderful, experienced hands. Melony can take him to work with her every day for socialization and he has a hiding place where he can hang out all day long with his mommy and feel safe. Riley has a new heeler puppy to play with and 3 cats who will keep him company. He will be extremely loved and spoiled, just like he deserves!
