Vincent (formerly Shamus)

Adopted 3-4-06

Shamus went to his forever home with Alicia and Lance in Westminster. He will be the only dog and spoiled rotten. His new parents had a brand new collar and lots of treats awaiting his arrival. They look forward to taking him for daily walks and to training classes to teach him some manners. Shamus leaned all over them and climbed right up onto the couch to make himself at home.

Oban

Adopted 3-4-06

Oban went to his forever home with Ray and Jenny in Thornton. They adopted their first Dane, Kady, from RMGDRI and are thrilled to add another one to the family! Oban will get to go to doggy daycare every week and will get lots of playtime with his new sister at home also. He is in wonderful hands and we are thrilled he has found the perfect place to call home forever.

Lily (formerly Bay)

Adopted 3-5-06

Bay went to her forever home with Emily in Denver. Emily has waited a long time to get a dog and wanted to make sure the timing was perfect when that special one came along. It was love at first sight for them both! Bay will be the only dog and looks forward to lots of playtime in the courtyard area where all the dogs gather for socialization. Emily is good friends with Kari Bastyr, so she will have constant training support. Emily has decided to rename this sweet girl, Lily, and she will be spoiled rotten!

Daisy

Adopted 3-5-06

Daisy went to her forever home with Cathy in Lincoln. She will be the only dog, but has a cat to keep her company. Her mom has Dane experience and her last Dane was very timid and scared around new people also, so she is in good hands. Her new mom drove all the way to Denver to come pick up her new baby and they hit it off right off the bat. Daisy will be very loved!

Wrigley

Adopted 3-5-06

Wrigley went to his forever home with Matt & Laura in Castle Rock. He has a Golden mix named Cooper to play with and his new parents have Dane experience, so he is in good hands. His new dad works from home most of the time, so he will rarely be left alone. During the times when they are both gone, a dog sitter comes to play with the dogs, so he will be ridiculously spoiled! It was definitely love at first sight and he was following Laura all over, leaning on her, and curled up under her feet as we were leaving.

Draco

Adopted 3-13-06

Draco went to his forever home with Stephen and Tricia in Loveland. He has a new Springer Spaniel sister named Macy to play with and it was love at first sight for them all! They could hardly contain their excitement. Draco will be extremely loved and spoiled by his new family, just like he deserves.

Mulligan

Adopted 3-17-06

Mulligan went to his forever home with Anthony and Bill in Elizabeth. He has a Dane sister named Jade to keep him company and has lots of room to run and play! It was love at first sight for them all and his new daddies could not wait to get him home. They are excited about becoming volunteers, so we look forward to seeing them all at future events. Mulligan will be very loved and spoiled the rest of his days.

Max

Adopted 3-19-06

Max went to his forever home with Keri & Jake in Fort Collins. He will have 2 cats to play with and his parents work opposite schedules so he will rarely have to be left alone. Jake is a Larimer County Deputy and works with the K-9 unit and they owned a mastiff previously, so he is in wonderful hands. They plan to get him signed up for training right away and could hardly contain their excitement over their handsome new addition! Max will be extremely loved and spoiled the rest of his days.

Baby

Adopted 3-19-06

Baby went to her forever home with Julie in Westminster. Julie is a fellow volunteer, so we are thrilled to be able to see Baby on a regular basis as she flourishes in her new home. She has two new Dane brothers named Titus and Jethro. Titus was also adopted from RMGDRI, so she is in very experienced hands. Baby also has a cat named Buster to keep her company as well. There is a dog park right outside of her new home, so she will get lots of exercise and playtime for the rest of her days. We could not be happier for Baby and thank Julie for opening her heart and home to an older one!

Pip

Adopted 3-27-06

Pip went to her forever home with Kim in Denver. Kim has had a bed and bowls at her house for weeks, waiting for the right Dane to come along. She took one look at Pip's picture on the website and knew she it was meant to be! Kim is great friends with Lael, who adopted Guinness from RMGDRI, so Pip already has a built in new Dane friend. It was love at first sight for them all, and we are so happy to have found such a great home for one of our older Danes.

Shadow

Adopted 3-27-06

Shadow went to his forever home with Joe, Joe's roommate and Rowdy the Sharpei mix, in Denver. Joe was very excited to meet Shadow, and already has big summer plans for the two of them to enjoy lots of time at the lake behind his house! Joe lost his beloved dog Suzie Q a year ago, and is very excited to have a new 4 legged friend! Shadow was climbing into everyone's laps and teaching them all what a "lean" is all about as we left. Shadow will be spoiled rotten, and very loved!

Brutus

Adopted 3-28-06

Brutus went to his forever home with Frances, Lorraine and their daughter in Cherry Hills. They are a very Dane experienced home, where all of their Danes have lived past 10 years old! He has 6 acres to play on, and will be the only dog. The family instantly was charmed by his sweet personality!

Taylor

Adopted 4-1-06

Taylor went to her forever home with Ross & Carol in Denver. She has a new Akita brother named Max, who could hardly contain his excitement when this pretty girl arrived. All he wanted to do was give her kisses. Ross & Carol recently lost their Great Pyrenees to cancer, so they are thrilled to have another large dog in their home! Taylor is going to be spoiled rotten!
