Sammie

Adopted 5-27-06

Sammie went to her forever home with Randi in Denver. Her new mom fosters for the rescue, so she will have lots of other Dane playmates. She will get to come to work with her mom most of the time and will rarely have to be left alone. Randi fell in love with her and just couldn't say goodbye! Sammie will be extremely loved and spoiled for the rest of her days.

Lucy

Adopted 5-27-06

Lucy went to her forever home with Bill, Tamra, and their 3 kids in Centennial. She has a new Springer Spaniel mix brother named Snoopy to play with. The family has named their dogs after Charlie Brown characters and after losing their lab, Charlie, Lucy was a perfect new addition to the family! She has a great big, new yard to run around in and the longest she will be left alone is around 4 hours, so she will be very spoiled and get lots of attention. Lucy had a brand new purple collar and leash, a new bed, and painted ceramic raised feeder awaiting her arrival. Her new mom could hardly wait to take Lucy to their son's baseball game to show her off to friends and family!

Liccy

Adopted 5-27-06

Liccy went to her forever home with Julie in Aurora. She has a new lab sister named Nina and a lab mix brother named Kasey who were so excited when they met Liccy that they couldn't even sit still for a picture. Nina kept rolling around on her back, begging Liccy to play with her, as you can see in the photo. Her new mom couldn't believe anyone could be so to her new girl. Julie will make sure Liccy gets whatever she needs for the rest of her days!

Topper

Adopted 5-29-06

Topper went to her forever home with Dave & Johanne in Woodland Park. She has a new Dane brother named Cricket who was also adopted from RMGDRI. They have years of Dane experience, so she is in wonderful hands! Their dogs are their kids and they are spoiled rotten. They purchased a minivan so that they could take the seats out and give their Danes a great big dog bed for traveling and make it easy for them to get in and out of the car. Topper's new parents look forward to taking her for lots of walks and hikes and think she is absolutely beautiful! We are so happy that the perfect family finally came along and Topper has found her forever home at last.

Apollo

Adopted 5-29-06

Apollo went to his forever home with Mandi in Grand Junction. He has a Border Collie mix sister and a Cane Corso sister to play with. His new mom has Dane experience, so he is in good hands! Someone will be home with him during the day, so he will rarely be left alone. It was love at first sight and Mandi could hardly wait to get him home and show him off! He will be very loved and spoiled for the rest of his days.

Leah

Adopted 5-31-06

Leah went to her forever home with Rachel in Fort Collins. Her new mom is in school at CSU to become a vet, so she is in wonderful hands! She has a new Dane mix brother named Gunther to play with in her big backyard and lounge with on the couch with when they are done playing. Rachel looks forward to taking both her dogs with her everywhere she goes and is very committed to socializing Leah and helping her to gain more confidence. Leah will receive only the best of care and will be spoiled to her little heart's desire!

Harley

Adopted 6-1-06

Harley went to his forever home with Cindy, Joe, and their two teenage children. He has five other dogs and three cats to play with and all but one were rescued, so he is in wonderful hands. His new mom is an animal control officer at the shelter where he was taken and it truly was love at first sight. After fostering him and helping him through his recovery, Harley had developed a very special bond that could not be broken. He has found his forever home where he will never suffer again and he will be loved and pampered, just like he deserves!

Jada

Adopted 6-9-06

Jada went to her forever home with Maria and her two sons in Arvada. Maria lost her last Dane to cancer after only 2 years, so she is thrilled to have another one in the house again. Jada made herself right at home and drooled water all over while counter surfing and checking out her new digs. She has a new brother and sister Schnauzer. They made sure to let her know that the little dogs rule the roost and Jada just wagged her tail in agreement. Maria plans to continue Jada's care with Dr. Landry at TLC and will make sure that she lives a long and healthy life and gets whatever she needs!

Wilson

Adopted 6-10-06

Wilson went to his forever home with Sherie, Steve, and their two kids in West Point. He has a brother Dane named Bubba and a sister Chihuahua named Chi Chi to keep him company. He and Bubba hit it off immediately and it was wrestle mania while Chi Chi made sure everyone knew she ruled the roost! His new family has a cabin on the lake and were on their way to spend the weekend there with their new addition. They were also nice enough to drive all the way to Denver to pick up their new baby! Wilson will be spoiled rotten and is in wonderful, experienced hands.

Chloe (formerly Liddy)

Adopted 6-10-06

Liddy went to her forever home with Amy & Kevin in Parker. She has a new rescue Border Collie mix brother named Carlos and they were playing before we left. She also has 2 cats to keep her company and her new dad works nights, so someone will be home with her almost all the time. Liddy's new parents look forward to taking her on their nightly hour long walks and for lots of hikes on the weekend. She has come a long way from her horrible past and will never be mistreated again.

Rupert

Adopted 6-13-06

Rupert went to his forever home with Jermyl in Boulder. He will be his daddy's only child, but his roommate has a lab named Hondo for him to play with. He has a big new yard in the mountains and his new dad looks forward to taking him for lots of hikes. Jermyl has been researching the breed for a long time and is thrilled to have a new dog as big and goofy as he is! Rupert will be very loved and spoiled for the rest of his days.

Phoenix

Adopted 6-14-06

Phoenix went to his forever home with Janine and her two kids in Denver. He has a Cairn Terrier named Scruffy and a cat to play with! His new family could hardly contain their excitement and have been wanting a Dane for a long time. They will make sure that Phoenix gets whatever he needs in order to ensure he lives a long and happy life with their family! He will be very loved.

 

Marley

Adopted 6-15-06

Marley went to his forever home with Kim and Fletcher in Thornton. He has a Dane sister named Melody, who was also adopted from RMGDRI, and a Basset mix brother named Hercules to play with. They all fell in love after fostering him not even a week and couldn't possibly say goodbye. Marley completed their family and it was a perfect match. He will be very loved and spoiled and we look forward to seeing them all at many upcoming events!

Shiloh

Adopted 6-16-06

Shiloh went to her forever home with Candice in Denver. She will be the only dog and spoiled rotten. Her new mom could hardly contain her excitement and made a big trip to the pet store in preparation for the arrival of her new addition. Candice looks forward to taking her new Dane for lots of walks and trips to the dog park. Shiloh is thrilled to have a new mommy all to herself to cuddle with on the couch during her final years.

Titan

Adopted 6-18-06

Titan went to his forever home with Valerie and Gabriel in Brighton. He will be the only child and spoiled rotten, just like he deserves! His new parents plan to take him to Dr. Landry for his vet care, so we know he will be in good hands. Titan's new parents also are fully committed to helping him to overcome his past and we are happy to know that he will never be mistreated again. His parents work different shifts, so someone is home during the day. He will rarely have to be left alone and they will have lots of time to work on training and socialization.
