_________________________________

Annabel Lee (formerly Leah)

Adopted 6-19-06

Leah went to her forever home with Sara & Jake in Colorado Springs. She has a new Dane brother named G.W. who was also adopted from RMGDRI and formerly known as Kane. She is in wonderful, experienced hands! Her new parents have been dying to add another Dane to the family and were thrilled that the perfect match finally came along. They will make sure that Leah gets whatever she needs for the rest of her days!

Santana (formerly Duke)

Adopted 6-20-06

Duke went to his forever home with Jessica, Paul, & their two kids in Highlands Ranch. He has a Siberian Husky sister named Nikki and it was love at first sight! His new daddy works from home, so he won't have to be left alone much and they will have plenty of time to work on training. Jessica grew up with Danes, so he is in good hands and will be very loved and spoiled the rest of his days. His new family would also like to volunteer for the rescue, so we look forward to seeing them all at upcoming events and watching Duke grow.

Andie (formerly Britta)

Adopted 6-24-06

Britta went to her forever home with Sean & Relene in Colorado Springs. She has a new Westie named Oscar to play with and they were play bowing instantly! They had her new red collar and tag in the car and were thrilled to call her their new addition. She has a great big yard to run and play in and looked very happy as we left. Britta will be spoiled rotten!

Ivan (formerly Magoo)

Adopted 6-24-06

Magoo went to his forever home with Amy & Brian in Leavenworth. They are wonderful volunteers for our organization and have adopted one of their other Danes from us as well. He has 3 Dane siblings named Nicholas, Major, and Anastasia, and a lab named Alexandra to play with. As you can see, the name Ivan goes much better with their name theme. His mommy owns the Spoiled Dog Barkery, so we know he will get lots of treats! Ivan looks forward to finding his place on their king size bed surrounded by twin beds so that they can all sleep together.

Bowie (formerly Hagrid)

Adopted 6-25-06

Hagrid went to his forever home with Audria & her sister Karen in Denver. They have lots of Dane experience and just lots their last rescue Dane a few months ago. They are thrilled to have another Dane in the house again to surf their counters and lean on them. Hagrid will be an only child for the moment, but they plan to adopt another Dane once he has adjusted to his new home. They are excited about the challenge of training a deaf Dane and will make sure that he gets whatever he needs for the rest of his days!

Zeus

Adopted 6-29-06

Zeus went to his forever home with Michael, Karen and their son in Brighton. He has a new Dane sister named Koda who was also adopted from RMGDRI and a cat named Max to play with. They recently lost their previous Dane, Luke, so all are very happy to have another gentle giant around. They are volunteers, so we look forward to seeing them all at upcoming events! We are so happy that Zeus has found his forever home at last and so grateful to his new family for being willing to take on an old guy.

Bob (formerly Dre)

Adopted 6-30-06

Dre went to his forever home with Thomas & Frances in Lander. He has a new Dane mix named Opie to sleep all day with. They are both pretty lazy, so they are the perfect match! His family could hardly contain their excitement and couldn't wait to get home so they could introduce their new addition to all their friends. Dre's new parents are retired, so they have lots of time to spend with the dogs and they live in the country with lots of land to explore. He will be very well taken care of for the rest of his days!

Jane

Adopted 6-30-06

Jane went to her forever home with Julie in Westminster. Julie is one of our volunteers and was fostering Jane and simply fell in love! She has a cat and a new Dane brother named Titus, who was also adopted from RMGDRI. They were instant friends and have a very special bond. Julie has a dog park right outside of where she lives, so Jane will get lots of exercise and always have lots of friends to play with when she isn't at home relaxing on the couch. We are so grateful to Julie for opening her heart and home to this sweet old lady!

Owen (formerly Duke)

Adopted 6-30-06

Duke went to his forever home with Yvette. He will be the only dog for now, but once he has adjusted to his new home, his mom wants to adopt a second Dane for him to play with! Yvette has trained, shown, and raised dogs for 25 years, so he is in wonderful hands! His mom also volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and has a motorhome so that she can take her dogs along everywhere she goes. Duke will be extremely well cared for and loved for the rest of his life!

Charlotte

Adopted 7-1-06

Charlotte went to her forever home with Vanessa and Jon in Colorado Springs. She has a Cattle dog/Border Collie mix brother to play with and her family goes to the dog park on a daily basis! Her new mom works at the local humane society, so she is in good hands and has lots of experience. Someone will be home during the day, so Charlotte won't have to be alone much and they have lots of time to work with her and help her to overcome her fears. Charlotte will be spoiled rotten!

Mich

Adopted 7-5-06

Mich went to his forever home with Kim in Arvada. He has a Dane named Simon and a Chow/Shepherd mix named Sam to play with, so he has lots of friends. The dogs have their own beds downstairs where it is cool during the day and somehow she has to make room for a third one in her bed at night! Kim has owned Danes her entire life, so he is in good hands and will be very spoiled.

Toby

Adopted 7-5-06

Toby went to his forever home with Randy, Missy, and their daughter Phoenix. He has a Boston Terrier sister to play with and his new family can't wait for the picnic so that they can show off their handsome boy! Randy has Dane experience, so Toby is in good hands and they would like to become volunteers. The entire family was headed to Petsmart for a shopping trip and could hardly contain their excitement over their new addition!
