Lee (formerly Leah)
Adopted 6-19-06
Leah went to her forever
home with Sara & Jake in Colorado Springs. She has a new Dane brother
named G.W. who was also adopted from RMGDRI and formerly known as Kane.
She is in wonderful, experienced hands! Her new parents have been dying
to add another Dane to the family and were thrilled that the perfect
match finally came along. They will make sure that Leah gets whatever
she needs for the rest of her days!

Santana (formerly
Duke)
Adopted 6-20-06
Duke went to his forever
home with Jessica, Paul, & their two kids in Highlands Ranch. He
has a Siberian Husky sister named Nikki and it was love at first sight!
His new daddy works from home, so he won't have to be left alone much
and they will have plenty of time to work on training. Jessica grew
up with Danes, so he is in good hands and will be very loved and spoiled
the rest of his days. His new family would also like to volunteer for
the rescue, so we look forward to seeing them all at upcoming events
and watching Duke grow. |

Andie (formerly
Britta)
Adopted 6-24-06
Britta went to her forever home
with Sean & Relene in Colorado Springs. She has a new Westie named
Oscar to play with and they were play bowing instantly! They had her new
red collar and tag in the car and were thrilled to call her their new
addition. She has a great big yard to run and play in and looked very
happy as we left. Britta will be spoiled rotten! |

Ivan (formerly
Magoo)
Adopted 6-24-06
Magoo went to his forever
home with Amy & Brian in Leavenworth. They are wonderful volunteers
for our organization and have adopted one of their other Danes from
us as well. He has 3 Dane siblings named Nicholas, Major, and Anastasia,
and a lab named Alexandra to play with. As you can see, the name Ivan
goes much better with their name theme. His mommy owns the Spoiled Dog
Barkery, so we know he will get lots of treats! Ivan looks forward to
finding his place on their king size bed surrounded by twin beds so
that they can all sleep together. |

Bowie (formerly
Hagrid)
Adopted 6-25-06
Hagrid went to his forever
home with Audria & her sister Karen in Denver. They have lots of
Dane experience and just lots their last rescue Dane a few months ago.
They are thrilled to have another Dane in the house again to surf their
counters and lean on them. Hagrid will be an only child for the moment,
but they plan to adopt another Dane once he has adjusted to his new
home. They are excited about the challenge of training a deaf Dane and
will make sure that he gets whatever he needs for the rest of his days! |

Zeus

Zeus went to his forever home
with Michael, Karen and their son in Brighton. He has a new Dane sister
named Koda who was also adopted from RMGDRI and a cat named Max to play
with. They recently lost their previous Dane, Luke, so all are very happy
to have another gentle giant around. They are volunteers, so we look forward
to seeing them all at upcoming events! We are so happy that Zeus has found
his forever home at last and so grateful to his new family for being willing
to take on an old guy.

Bob (formerly
Dre)

Dre went to his forever home
with Thomas & Frances in Lander. He has a new Dane mix named Opie
to sleep all day with. They are both pretty lazy, so they are the perfect
match! His family could hardly contain their excitement and couldn't wait
to get home so they could introduce their new addition to all their friends.
Dre's new parents are retired, so they have lots of time to spend with
the dogs and they live in the country with lots of land to explore. He
will be very well taken care of for the rest of his days! |

Jane

Jane went to her forever
home with Julie in Westminster. Julie is one of our volunteers and was
fostering Jane and simply fell in love! She has a cat and a new Dane
brother named Titus, who was also adopted from RMGDRI. They were instant
friends and have a very special bond. Julie has a dog park right outside
of where she lives, so Jane will get lots of exercise and always have
lots of friends to play with when she isn't at home relaxing on the
couch. We are so grateful to Julie for opening her heart and home to
this sweet old lady! |

Owen (formerly
Duke)
Adopted 6-30-06
Duke went to his forever
home with Yvette. He will be the only dog for now, but once he has adjusted
to his new home, his mom wants to adopt a second Dane for him to play
with! Yvette has trained, shown, and raised dogs for 25 years, so he
is in wonderful hands! His mom also volunteers for Habitat for Humanity
and has a motorhome so that she can take her dogs along everywhere she
goes. Duke will be extremely well cared for and loved for the rest of
his life! |

Charlotte

Charlotte went to her forever
home with Vanessa and Jon in Colorado Springs. She has a Cattle dog/Border
Collie mix brother to play with and her family goes to the dog park on
a daily basis! Her new mom works at the local humane society, so she is
in good hands and has lots of experience. Someone will be home during
the day, so Charlotte won't have to be alone much and they have lots of
time to work with her and help her to overcome her fears. Charlotte will
be spoiled rotten! |

Mich
Adopted 7-5-06
Mich went to his forever home
with Kim in Arvada. He has a Dane named Simon and a Chow/Shepherd mix
named Sam to play with, so he has lots of friends. The dogs have their
own beds downstairs where it is cool during the day and somehow she has
to make room for a third one in her bed at night! Kim has owned Danes
her entire life, so he is in good hands and will be very spoiled. |

Toby
Adopted 7-5-06
Toby went to his forever
home with Randy, Missy, and their daughter Phoenix. He has a Boston
Terrier sister to play with and his new family can't wait for the picnic
so that they can show off their handsome boy! Randy has Dane experience,
so Toby is in good hands and they would like to become volunteers. The
entire family was headed to Petsmart for a shopping trip and could hardly
contain their excitement over their new addition!
