Listed below are the Great Danes we have placed this year.

_________________________________

Titan (formerly Beastie Boy)

Adopted 7-30-06

Beastie Boy went to his forever home with Diana and her daughter in Golden. He has a Rottweiler/Shepherd mix sister named Bailey and a cat to play with. His new mom is a nurse and will make sure he gets the best care available. They have decided to call him Buck and he will be very loved and spoiled with lots of attention!

Milk

Adopted 7-30-06

Milk went to her forever home with Andy & Debi in Wellington. She has a new Dane brother named Boomer, who was also adopted by RMGDRI. Andy is a doctor and they both have lots of Dane experience, so she is in wonderful hands and will receive only the best of care. We are so grateful to Milk's new family for being willing to take in such a sweet old lady and hope she has many years left!

Jasper

Adopted 7-31-06

Jasper went to his forever home with Sarah and Jeff in Denver. He will be the only dog and has a cat named "Bitty" to keep him company. They have done a ton of research and live right by the Berkeley dog park, so he will get lots of playtime with the other Danes in the neighborhood. His new parents look forward to taking him with them to the mountains for lots of hiking in the great outdoors and could hardly stand their excitement over their new, handsome addition.

Gretchen (formerly Roxie)

Adopted 7-31-06

Roxie went to her forever home with Ray and Jodi in Lafayette. She will be the only dog and spoiled rotten for now, but they hope to start fostering for RMGDRI once she settles in. Her new parents have lots of Dane experience and plan to use Dr. Landry at TLC Animal Hospital, so she is in very good hands and will receive only the best of care. Ray works from home, so someone will be home with her all the time and they will have lots of time to work with her and love her like she deserves.

Maddy

Adopted 8-2-06

Maddy went to her forever home with GW in Denver. She has a new sister Dane named Kala to play with and as you can see in the photo, they both adore their daddy. GW has lots of Dane experience, so she is in wonderful hands and he will make sure she has everything she needs to live a long and happy life with them

Moose

Adopted 8-4-06

Moose went to his forever home with Leah in Fort Collins. He will be the only dog and spoiled rotten, just like he deserves. Someone is home almost all the time, so Moose will rarely have to be left alone. Leah could hardly get over how handsome her new boy is and says he is "perfect"!

Bud (formerly Simba)

Adopted 8-5-06

Simba went to his forever home with Rick, his wife & their 5 children in Golden. He has a Lab mix brother, a Chihuahua sister, and 2 cats to play with as well, so he will get lots of attention! There are only a few hours each day where he will be left alone and their dogs are treated like a member of the family. Simba will be extremely loved for the rest of his days!

Scoobie

Adopted 8-5-06

Scoobie went to his forever home with Piper, her husband, and their two boys in Powell, WY. He has 2 Mastiff sisters and a Mastiff/Lab mix brother to play with! His mom volunteers with Mastiff rescue and they have fostered previously, so he is in wonderful, experienced hands. Scoobie has a great big yard to play in and someone is home during the day, so he will rarely have to be left alone. His new family even had a vet appointment already set for Monday to see what they can do to help his sore shoulder. He will be very loved!

Chief

Adopted 8-7-06

Chief went to his forever home with Michelle & Jason in Aurora. He has a new Boston Terrier sister named Lily, a Pug brother named Hooch, and a cat brother to keep him company. He has a great big backyard to play in and his parents look forward to taking him to Cherry Creek Dog Park to play several times a week. Chief will be extremely spoiled and well-cared for and is happy to find a place to call home forever!
