Jasmine

Jasmine went to her forever home with Tamara in Colorado Springs. Her new mom has owned Danes for 34 years, so she is in very experienced hands! Jasmine has a new 8 year old Dane sister named Olive, who was also adopted from RMGDRI, to show her the ropes. She will be very loved and Tamara looks forward to working with a special needs Dane.

Cooper (formerly Chopper)

Adopted 6-10-07

Chopper went to his forever home with Sam and Colleen and their two children in Castle Rock. They decided to rename him Cooper! Cooper made himself at home right away and slobbered water all over the floor! His family had lots of new Dane stuff waiting for him including a new collar (which he is showing off in the picture), leash, and gentle leader. The children picked out some squeaky toys and he broken them in immediately! His new humans even built him a custom made raised feeder and water station. His family is excited to take Cooper camping this summer and got a larger camper so the dog has a place to sleep while camping too. Cooper is a lucky boy and will be very loved!

Hartley (formerly Xena)

Adopted 6-10-07

Xena went to her forever home with Marc and Christine in Aurora. She came as a total surprise to her new dad who has been wanting a second Dane ever since adopting Stanley. He was completely speechless when she appeared in his backyard as he was finishing up some yard work. Besides her new Dane brother Stanley, she has a boxer/golden retriever brother named Sampson and a kitty named Gretzky to keep her amused. Her new parents are completely thrilled with her and will spoil her rotten. Keeping with the hockey theme in the family, she was named after former Avalanche coach Bob Hartley.

Adopted 6-14-07

Dudley went to his forever home with Andy & Debi in Fort Collins. He has a Dane sister named Milk and a Dane brother named Boomer who were both adopted from RMGDRI. They are also volunteers for our organization, so he is in wonderful hands! His new family is very kind, patient, and gentle and will work with him to help him overcome his past of neglect and abuse. Someone is also almost always home, so he will rarely have to be left alone.
