Maddie (formerly Daisy)

Adopted 7-29-07

Daisy went to her forever home with Koan & Daniela in Denver. They could not believe how beautiful their new baby girl is! She will be the only dog and spoiled rotten. They also will have plenty of time to take her to the dog park for socialization and training classes to work on her manners as she grows bigger. She will be very loved! They have decided to rename her Maddie.

 

Finley (formerly Iris)

Adopted 7-29-07

Iris went to her forever home with Sadie in Englewood. Her boyfriend Ryan was there as well to welcome her new baby! She has a rescue cat named Gangster to play with, but will be the only dog and get all the attention a girl could dream of. Her new mom looks forward to lots of playtime, training, and most of all cuddling. She has decided to rename her Finley.

Bella (formerly Lilac)

Adopted 7-29-07

Lilac went to her forever home with Josh and Megan in Denver. They plan to use Mile High Canine Club for doggie daycare and Kari Bastyr with Wag & Train for training, so she will be in wonderful hands! Someone is home during the day, so she will rarely be left alone. She will be spoiled rotten and they have decided to rename her Bella.

Emma (formerly Petunia) & Kate (formerly Violet)

Adopted 7-29-07

Petunia and Violet went to their forever home with Barb & Tom in Frisco. Their new parents recently lost their last Dane and are overwhelmed with joy at the opportunity to raise two more gentle giants! The dogs can go to work with them, so they will get tons of attention, exercise, and training so that they grow up to be proper young ladies. They have decided to rename them Emma and Kate and they have a Border Collie mix sister named Abby to show them the ropes.

Ivy

Adopted 7-20-07

Ivy went to her forever home with Chris & Shannon in Colorado Springs. She has a rescue Lab/Pitt Bull mix sister named Kylie to play with and show her the ropes. Her new parents were very excited about their new baby and had gone shopping in preparation for her arrival. She will be very loved and spoiled and they will make sure she gets lots of socialization and training as she gets bigger.

Addy

Adopted 8-2-07

Addy went to her forever home with Monica, Mike, and their son, Daniel, in Centennial. She will be the only dog and spoiled rotten! They had a brand new bed, toys, leash, collar, and Gentle Leader awaiting her arrival. She ran around their backyard, play bowed, and swam in their pond as soon as she got there, so she made herself right at home! She will be very loved and well-cared for for the rest of her life.

Makato (formerly Punky)

Adopted 8-4-07

Punky went to his forever home with Doug & Julie and their two kids in Golden. They had lots of new toys for him to enjoy on his ride home and a huge pillow for him to nap on. He also had lots of new things awaiting him at him, so he will be spoiled rotten. He has a Shepherd/Lab mix, a Lab, a cat, a chinchilla, and 2 guinea pigs to keep him company. His new family looks forward to taking him hiking and to their kids games and have decided to rename him Makato.

Gus (formerly Big Daddy) & Jack (formerly Simba)

Adopted 8-4-07

Big Daddy and Simba went to their forever home with Holly & Robert in Highlands Ranch. Their new parents could not get over how handsome their new additions are! They had a new leash and collar for both boys and will make sure they receive all the love and attention they need and more! They don't have any other pets or kids and can't wait to show off their new babies. They have decided to rename them Gus and Jack.

Riggs

Adopted 8-4-07

Riggs went to his forever home with Rebecca, Paul, and their three kids, Thomas, Jack & Willie. They are experienced with the breed, so he is in wonderful hands! They look forward to taking Riggs for a walk every morning and are a very active family and will take him everywhere with them. Paul is home during the day, so he will rarely have to be left alone, and he has a cat to keep him company. He took to his new family immediately and will be very loved!

Julie

Adopted 8-4-07

Julie went to her forever home with Mary in Crown Point. She has a Dane sister named ShyAnn, who was also adopted from RMGDRI and formerly known as Cinder, and a Cattle Dog mix named Tonka to play with! Her new mom had a new leash & collar ready for her and was anxious to get back home to introduce Julie to her new siblings. She will be very loved and well-cared for for the rest of her life!

Tank

Adopted 8-9-07

Tank went to his forever home with Tonya & Jim in Aurora. He has 3 cats and 2 birds to keep him company! He was play bowing and talking to the cats who didn't exactly share his enthusiasm, but they will learn to be friends. Tank loved his new yard and had a case of the "zoomies" right off the bat. Someone is home basically all the time because they work opposite schedules, so he will get lots of love, attention, and training. He had a brand new bed, collar, raised feeder and Kong awaiting his arrival which he happily pounced on to show his excitement.

Samsun

Adopted 8-9-07

Samsun went to his forever home with Kevin & Elena in Monument. He has a Dane brother name Murphy, a Dane sister named Livvy, and another blind Dane brother named Rufus(also adopted from RMGDRI), to play with. His new parents clearly have lots of experience with the breed and are fellow volunteers, so he is in wonderful hands. It was basically love at first sight for all of them and they even plan to continue fostering!

Waylon

Adopted 8-10-07

Waylon went to his forever home with Bill and Cathie in Trinidad. They have Dane experience and he will be the only dog and spoiled rotten! Cathie is home all day, so he will rarely have to be alone and will have constant companionship. His new parents couldn't get over how tall and handsome he is! They will make sure he only receives the best of care and already had a get to know you appointment set up with their vet.

Tinkerbelle

Adopted 8-10-07

Tinkerbelle went to her forever home with Justin & Marcie and their 2 kids in Loveland. She has a Rottweiler sister named Roxy and a cat to play with. They live on lots of acreage and a private lake so all the swimming will help her legs continue to grow stronger. She had a raised feeder, dog bed, rhinestone collar and leash all waiting for her and her new family was taking her shopping on Saturday for toys and treats!

Maggie Moo

Adopted 8-10-07

Maggie Moo went to her forever home with Chase & Saphira in Castle Rock. They new had tags, raised feeder, and toys awaiting her arrival! Maggie Moo has a younger, bigger Dane brother named Saint Pierre and a new cat to play with. The whole family was excited to have a new addition and they all hit it off immediately! She will be very loved and spoiled.

Jocomo (formerly Marmaduke)

Adopted 8-10-07

Marmaduke went to his forever home with Irene & her daughter in Centennial. He will be the only pet and spoiled rotten for the rest of his life like he deserves! They have rescue Dane experienced and are committed to making sure he lives a long and happy life with them and always feels loved. They took to each other immediately and we are so happy that this special old man has finally found the perfect match. She has decided to rename him Jocomo.

Megan

Adopted 8-11-07

Megan went to her forever home with Steve, Pam, and their daughter Ellie in Glade Park. They were so excited to meet their new addition that they drove all the way to Denver to pick her up. They had a new pink collar and leash all ready for her. Megan will be living out her life on 10 acres and she will have 3 other dogs, 3 cats, and other farm animals to keep her company. Megan immediately gave her new mom and dad kisses and snuggled in next to Ellie's car seat for the drive home!
