Listed below are the Great Danes we have placed this year.

	Hera Adopted 8-14-07 Hera went to her forever home with Bree, Sean, and their 4 kids in Eaton. She will have 2 cats to keep her company and play with! They had a new pink collar, leash, and lots of toys for her. They were overcome with excitement to meet their new addition and plan to keep her name. She was equally excited about her new family and jumped right in the car for the trip home!
	Apollo Adopted 8-15-07 Apollo went to his forever home with Bill, Eugenia, and their two kids in Parker. He has a Dane sister named Pepper to show him the ropes! Someone is home most of the time, so he will rarely be left alone. His new family volunteers and fosters for the rescue, so he is in wonderful hands and will be very loved, just like he deserves.
	Garvy Adopted 8-15-07 Garvy went to his forever home with Bret and Sarah in Denver. They are planning on changing his name and the top contender at this point is " Vern". They had a new leash, collar, and crate for him and are excited to start obedience training. They think their new puppy is adorable and were excited to get him home to meet his new cat friends!
	Lilly Adopted 8-16-07 Lilly went to her forever home with Jim & Patricia in Peyton. She has a Dane sister named Taylor(also adopted from RMGDRI), a German Shepherd brother named Baron, cats, and horses to play with. They were fostering her and simply fell in love! She was the perfect addition to the pack. Her new mom is home during the day and has lots of time to work on training. Her new dad is a vet, so she couldn't be in better hands and will be very loved. 	Otis Adopted 8-19-07 Otis went to his forever home with Chanda, Bill, and their daughter Rebecca in Albuquerque. He took right to his new family and almost knocked them over leaning. He was very happy to get in her SUV and immediately made himself at home in the driver’s seat. They all three left very excited to head home and meet the rest of the pack, which includes two Dane sisters who were also adopted from RMGDRI! They will make sure that he only receives the best of care and he will get lots of TLC during the rest of his recovery process. See Otis' Story
	Mercedes Adopted 8-19-07 Mercedes went to her forever home with Piper, Robert, and their two boys in Powell. She has 2 Mastiff sisters, a Mastiff/Lab mix brother, and a Dane brother to play with! Their first Dane, Scoobie, was also adopted from RMGDRI and they have lots of rescue experience, so she is in wonderful hands and will be very loved. Someone is home almost all of the time, so she will get all the love and attention a girl could dream of!
	Tila (formerly Izzy) Adopted 8-24-07 Izzy went to her forever home with Jan! Her new mom is an animal activist, Great Dane rescue volunteer, and author of several animal related books about holistic health care, so she couldn't be in better hands. She works from home and looks forward to taking her new addition everywhere with her! Jan never goes on vacation without her dog and Izzy will be the only child and spoiled rotten! It was love at first sight and tears of happiness were shed and Izzy climbed into her new mom's lap and slimed her with Dane kisses.
	Pheona Adopted 8-24-07 Pheona went to her forever home with Paula & Kelly in Littleton. She has a 90 lb Lab brother named Samson to play with! Both her new mommies will make sure she gets lots of love and attention. They use Dr. Taylor at Alameda East for vet care and go to great lengths for their pets, so she will receive only the best of care and will be very well cared for.
	Beast (formerly Gunther) Adopted 8-24-07 Gunther went to his forever home with Todd in Colorado Springs. He had a new raised feeder, collar, leash and play-toys all waiting for his new addition. Gunther's tail went crazy when he saw his new dad. Todd was very excited to bring his new buddy home to explore his property and spend the weekend getting to know each other! He will be very loved.
	Diva (formerly Zena) Adopted 8-24-07 Zena went to her forever home with Jean-Charles, Caroline, and their two girls in Aurora. Her new family had the entire house ready for her arrival. They had a brand new raised feeder, collar, leash, new bed, and lots of good treats. They was so happy to meet her they could hardly contain their excitement and she was following the children around the house immediately. They have decided to rename her Diva and will continue to nurse her back to health and make sure she receives only the best of care!
	Miss Lily (formerly Misae) Adopted 8-25-07 Misae went to her forever home with Annette, Robert, and their 4 kids, Rayne, Alex, Belle, and Ellie. She will be the only pet and spoiled rotten with all the love and attention a girl could dream of! Someone is home during the day, so she will rarely have to be left alone. She was thrilled with all the pets and hugs she got upon our arrival and gave everyone lots of kisses!
	Fern Adopted 8-25-07 Fern went to her forever home with David and Jill in Elizabeth. She has a Lab brother, a German Shorthair Pointer brother, a beagle sister, a house rabbit, cows, and donkeys to play with! Someone is home during the day, so they have lots of time to work on training and socialization and she will rarely be left alone. They could not contain their excitement over their new addition and will be renaming her "Mattie".
	Grover (formerly Mocho) Adopted 8-25-07 Mocho went to his forever home with Marty and John in Franktown. He has a Golden Retriever brother and 4 cats to play with in his new home! Mocho has a dog run that is close to an acre in size to play with his new brother on and a dog door to come and go as he pleases. Mocho's new mom is a volunteer at the Buddy Center and familiar with working with rescue animals, so he is in great hands! His new family looks forward to giving him all the love and care he deserves!
	Gretta Adopted 8-26-07 Gretta went to her forever home with James in Englewood. Her new dad was thrilled to meet his new addition and his Labradoodle, Madeline, was just as excited! Gretta was happily wagging her tail as she greeted them both. They were off to Petco to go shopping for everything she would need to feel at home! She will be very loved for the rest of her life.
	Kiry (formerly Kira) Adopted 8-27-07 Kira went to her forever home with Lorri in Denver. Lorri was fostering this sweet girl and decided that she should stay forever! Kira has a new Dane sister named KC, a little mix brother named " Mr Big", and two cats to spend her days with. Lori has a peaceful backyard with lots of plants and flowers for Kira to find safety in, as well as a big pond to use as her own personal drinking fountain! Lorri feels that she is blessed to be Kira's new mom and will continue to patiently work with her as she learns this world is not such a bad place.
	Freida Adopted 8-30-07 Freida went to her forever home with Kirsten, Randy, and their kids in Littleton. They were fostering her and her siblings and developed a special bond with Freida. It was clear that Freida feels the same way about them and she didn't even want to go potty because she would have had to leave their side. She will definitely be very loved! They have decided to rename her Summer.
	Osa Adopted 9-1-07 Osa went to her forever home with Cathy & John in Colorado Springs. She has a new Cocker brother named Franklin to show her the ropes! Someone is home all day long, so she will rarely have to be left alone and will be very loved and spoiled for the rest of her life. Her new parents were very excited to meet their new addition and thought she was beautiful!
	Big Ben Adopted 9-1-07 Big Ben went to his forever home with Douglas & Candice in West Jordan. He has a Dane sister to play with and their dogs are their kids and spoiled rotten! They are looking to adopt some 2 legged kids in the near future and Ben will be the perfect ambassador to welcome them. His new parents couldn't believe their luck getting such a handsome new addition.
	Dharma Adopted 9-3-07 Dharma went to her forever home with Anne, Bart, and their three boys in Greenwood Village. She will be the only dog and spoiled rotten! The boys had lots of hugs for their new addition and will make sure that she gets tons of attention. She has a big, beautiful yard to run and play in and they were looking forward to introducing her to some neighboring doggie friends once she got settled.
	Kona Adopted 9-3-07 Kona went to her forever home with Parvin, her husband, and their son. She has two Lab brothers to run and play with! Her new parents are committed to continuing to exercise and provide Kona with supplements as she strengthens her hips and will get her whatever care she needs. They had a brand new crate and other goodies awaiting her arrival! She will be very loved and spoiled.
	Rigby (formerly Cinnamon) Adopted 9-4-07 Cinnamon went to her forever home with Debi & Pat in Omaha. She has a Border Collie mix brother named Cyrus and they were immediately running around together in their giant backyard! Her new parents are experienced with the breed, so she is in wonderful hands. They couldn't get over how beautiful, friendly, and well-behaved their new addition is! Her new name will be Rigby, after Eleanor Rigby, in honor of the Beatles.
	Ebony Adopted 9-4-07 Ebony went to her forever home with Denise and Jeff in Fort Calhoun. They have their son's Lab/Border Collie mix named Alvin who is staying with them and their old Mini Schnauzer, Mazie, to keep her company. Someone is basically always home, so she will get lots of love and attention, just like she deserves!
