Lexi

Adopted 9-8-07

Lexi went to her forever home with Kristi in Evans. She has an older Dane sister named Annie to show her the ropes and a young Dane brother named Rex to play with! Rex was also adopted from RMGDRI, so she is in wonderful hands and her new mom is committed to working with her on socialization and gaining confidence. She will be very loved!

Maggie

Adopted 9-8-07

Maggie went to her forever home with Sarah, Ian, and their son, Truman, in Littleton. They were so excited to meet their new addition! She even gave them kisses immediately. They had treats, leashes, & toys waiting for her. Maggie explored the entire house and backyard and was playing with her new friends, Monte the Golden Retriever and 2 cats, when we left.

Edie (formerly Sweetie)

Adopted 9-8-07

Sweetie went to her forever home with Cathy in Edgewater. She will be the only dog and spoiled rotten! Her new mom can't wait to take her hiking, camping and for lots of trips to the dog park. Cathy's sister Amy was visiting from Scotland where she is attending vet school and couldn't believe how beautiful she was! Cathy was so excited she could hardly wait to get her home to meet all her friends!

Neveah

Adopted 9-9-07

Neveah went to her forever home with Tabitha in Denver. Her new mom drove all the way to the Palisades to pick up her new addition so that she could meet her foster family and so that Neveah could have one final romp in the park with her friends! She could hardly wait to get her home to meet her two kitty friends and looks forward to taking her for lots of walks and for play dates with the Dane Meetup Group locally. She will be very loved!

Taz

Adopted 9-9-07

Taz went to his forever home with Karren and her daughter in Parker. Taz also has a new Great Dane brother, Doggo, who was adopted from RMGDRI as well. Taz smothered his new family with kisses and happily explored his new house. He even helped himself to Doggo's dinner! These two Danes were instant friends, and it was nearly impossible to get them to even sit still long enough to take the success photo! They are going to keep his name as "Taz" and are looking forward to watching him grow!

Harley

Adopted 9-9-07

Harley went to his forever home with Judy & her husband in Denver. His new family has tons of experience with the breed and just recently lost their last Dane, who was also adopted from RMGDRI. They are so happy to have another gentle giant in their lives once again! Judy couldn't get over how handsome Harley was. They had a new collar and leash waiting for him and couldn't wait to get him home to meet his new Yorkie friend! Someone is home basically all the time and they have lots of love to give.

Lola

Adopted 9-9-07

Lola went to her forever home with Jonathan & Elizabeth in Salt Lake City. They don't have any other pets or kids, so she will be spoiled rotten, just like she deserves! Her new parents look forward to taking her for lots of walks and trips to the dog park to play with other 4 legged friends! They are so excited to have her home at last and will make sure she receives the best of care.

Daisy

Adopted 9-11-07

Daisy went to her forever home with Brad, Robin, and their three kids in Salt Lake City. They are very experienced with the breed and committed to continuing to work with her on leadership training. Someone is home most of the time and they have a big yard for her to run and play in. Daisy rode off sitting on one of the seats in the back of the minivan, just like one of the kids. She also has the same birthday as the youngest boy! She will be very loved and spoiled for the rest of her life.

Adonis

Adopted 9-11-07

Adonis went to his forever home with Christi, Jay, and their two kids in Colorado Springs. They are experienced with the breed and have a female Dane sister for him to play with! They can't believe anyone would abandon such an amazing dog and are thrilled to have the opportunity to pamper him like he deserves from now on! He will be very loved and well-cared for.

Dutch

Adopted 9-14-07

Dutch went to his forever home with Kyle in Colorado Springs. He will be the only dog and get all of his new Dad's attention! He had a new leash and raised feeder waiting for him and he will be getting a gentle leader soon! He had lots of blankets making a comfy place to ride back home in his new Dad's SUV. Kyle looks forward to taking Dutch out to the park every morning right by his house and will come home for lunch to play with him!

Mickey

Adopted 9-14-07

Mickey went to his forever home with Randy, Kelli, and their two kids in Aurora. He and his new Akita brother, Wasabi, hit it off immediately and are best friends! They love to run and play together in the back yard and Mickey gets to be the man in charge, which he loves. Mickey jumped up to give his new dad a hug as soon as he got home and went from lap to lap for pets during our visit. His new family plans to volunteer and we are looking forward to seeing them all at the upcoming Dane Walk!

Sally & Magnum

Adopted 9-16-07

Sally and Magnum went to their forever home with Jodi & David in Lakewood. Their son TJ was also there to join in the excitement over their new additions! They had new giant crates with nameplates, new collars, lots of treats and toys, cushy new dogbeds and nametags waiting for their new babies. Jodi even moved a couch up from the basement to her office so the dogs will have a place to lounge while she is working at home. They will rarely be left alone and are in experienced hands.

Holly

Adopted 9-16-07

Holly went to her forever home with John & Ashley in Aurora. They were very excited to meet their new addition and had everything that was needed to make her feel at home awaiting her arrival. She had a new bed, bowls, toys, treats, and Ashley's favorite color for a collar & leash, Purple! She will be the only dog and spoiled rotten with all the attention a girl could dream of.

Charlie

Adopted 9-16-07

Charlie went to his forever home with Cozanne, David, and their two teenage children, AJ & Josiah, in Fort Collins. Someone is home 4 days a week, so they'll have a lot of time to work on training and socialization with their new puppy. Charlie rolled over on his back for a belly rub immediately upon meeting his new family! They look forward to giving Charlie lots of love and exercise and can't wait to play in the back yard with him. Charlie will have lots of visitors including family, friends and their four legged friends to play with also!

Star

Adopted 9-18-07

Star went to her forever home with Amy & Roger in Colorado Springs. They adopted their current Dane, Juliette, from RMGDRI and fostered a few Danes for us as well, so she will be in good hands! She also has a Boston Terrier brother to play with. Her new family looks forward to taking her on lots of walks and will make sure she is spoiled rotten.

Henry (formerly Dulley)

Adopted 9-19-07

Dulley went to his forever home with Ben and Nicole in Lakewood. They have decided to rename him "Henry" and could not get over how cute he was. They had already made a trip to Petsmart and brought along a new leash, collar, name tag and toys. His new family is excited to start obedience classes and look forward to bringing him to future RMGDRI events so we can all watch him grow.

Sampson

Adopted 9-20-07

Sampson went to his forever home with Peter & Jamie in Denver. He has a Boston Terrier sister named Izzie to play with! His new parents look forward to taking him through training at Wag & Train and he will get to go to doggie daycare at Mile High Canine Club as soon as he has recovered from his heartworm treatment. Sampson had a brand new matching leash and gentle leader waiting for him and will be very loved and spoiled!

Shelby

Adopted 9-20-07

Shelby went to her forever home with Heather & Zach in Denver. They were amazed by how beautiful Shelby is and impressed with her good manners. She has her own bed which will occupy a special place in the bedroom and, after some initial exploring, she made herself right at home. She made instant friends with her new 4 legged friends, Merlot & Capone, and when we left she was lounging on the bed. She has a great life ahead of her!

Maximus

Adopted 9-22-07

Maximus went to his forever home with Jennifer, Carey, and their 2 kids in Bailey and it was love at first sight! They thought he was extremely handsome and were very excited to meet him. Their new addition seemed just as pleased with his new family and his tail didn't stop wagging the entire time. They had a new collar, leash, and tags with his name and his new home information. He has a Malamute sister and they exchanged greetings and got along instantly. He will be very loved!

Bubba

Adopted 9-23-07

Bubba went to his forever home with Scott & Hillary in Franktown. He has 4 Dane friends named Millie, Logan, Duke, and Sophie and a cat named Murphy to play with! He has tons of acreage to run and play on out in the country and plenty of couches and beds to snuggle with his humans on. His new parents are very experienced with the breed and have volunteered and fostered for us for years, so he is in wonderful hands and will be very loved.

Kai (formerly Smokie)

Adopted 9-23-07

Smokie went to his forever home with Tina, Stan, and their 3 kids in Park City. He has an older Dane sister named Luna to show him the ropes! His new mom is home during the day, so she will have lots of time to work on training and socialization. They have decided to rename him "Kai", which is short for Kaiser and means 'King' in German. He will be very loved and they will make sure that he receives only the best of care.

Patches

Adopted 9-23-07

Patches went to her forever home with Michelle in Salt Lake. Her new mom is very active and looks forward to taking her new addition for plenty of walks! She is also a social worker and a very kind, gentle person who is committed to continuing to work with Patches on her confidence issues and realizing the world is not such a scary place. Patches has a cat to keep her company and Michelle has a flexible schedule and can come home at lunch to spend time with her pets.

Trinity

Adopted 9-23-07

Trinity went to her forever home with Annie, her husband, and their 2 kids. She has a German Shepherd brother, a Greyhound sister that was rescued from a puppy mill, a rescued cat, and 4 sugar gliders to keep her company. Someone is home during the day, so she will rarely be left alone and will get tons of love and attention!

Tucker

Adopted 9-27-07

Tucker went to his forever home with Patricia & Jim in Peyton. He will have a Dane sister named Taylor, a Dane mix sister named Lilly, and a German Shepherd brother named Baron to play with! Both their previous Danes were adopted from RMGDRI and his new parents volunteer for us, so he is in wonderful hands. Not to mention that his new dad is a vet and his mom works from home and is very experienced with training! Tucker will receive only the best of care for the rest of his life.
