Capone

Adopted 10-20-07

Capone went to his forever home with Sandra & Paul in Littleton. He has 3 cats to play with and his new mom works from home, so he will rarely be left alone! They plan on taking him to doggie daycare and the dog park on a regular basis for continued socialization and playtime. He made friends with one of his cat brothers right away. His new parents had a new raised feeder, treats, and toys waiting for Capone. Sandra could not believe how well behaved he was and couldn't wait to intorduce him to their friends and the neighborhood dogs soon!

Jameson (formerly Gulliver)

Adopted 10-20-07

Gulliver went to his forever home with Caroline, Lisa, and her two kids in Thornton. He has a Pug brother, a Border Collie/Aussie mix sister, and a cat to play with. His new family has decided to rename him Jameson and are the inventors or Kool Dogz Ice Treats, so he will be very spoiled. Jameson was making himself at home by sitting on Lisa's son's lap on the sofa! Lisa & Caroline were looking forward to taking him to the park and showing him off to all of their friends!

 

Merlin

Adopted 10-21-07

Merlin went to his forever home with Margaret & Pete in Wellington. He has a Beagle mix sister named Whitney, a Shepherd mix brother named Ben, a very large Lab named Gorilla, and 2 cats named Jimmy and George for him to play with! Margaret is a vet tech and they live on a farm with lots of room for him to run and play. He will receive only the best of care and they will make sure the rest of his days are as happy and comfortable as possible. It was love at first sight for them all and Merlin immediately fit into the pack.

Chance

Adopted 10-21-07

Chance went to his forever home with Aaron & Corie in Centennial. He will be the only child and someone is home most of the time, so he will be very spoiled with lots of love and attention! Grandma lives only a mile away and can't wait to take her new grand-doggie to the dog park. He was off to go shopping with his mom right after our visit and Corie made him a home-made dog bed in honor of his arrival. He will receive only the best of care for the rest of his life!

Calvin(formerly Buster)

Adopted 10-21-07

Buster went to his forever home with Teresa & Shawn in Colorado Springs. He has a Dane/Saint Bernard mix sister and cats to show him the ropes and play with! His new parents work rotating shifts so someone is home most of the time and they will have plenty of time to teach their new baby manners and continue to build his confidence. They couldn't believe what a handsome boy he is and will spoil him rotten, just like he deserves!

Marley(formerly Merlin) & Osa(formerly Molly)

Adopted 10-21-07

Merlin & Molly went to their forever home with Dean, Bonnie, and their two kids, Aaron and Tony, in Loveland. They are experienced with the breed, so they are in wonderful hands! Someone is home almost all the time, so they will have plenty of time to work on training and socialization. Their new babies made themselves right at home chewing on the carpet, trim, and drywall, so their parents were off to go shopping for plenty of toys and puppy proofing supplies. They have decided to rename them Marley & Osa and they will be very well loved and spoiled for the rest of their lives!

Sarge

Adopted 10-21-07

Sarge went to his forever home with Kelly in Ashland. He has a Dane brother named "Zane", a Corgi sister named "Sadie", and 3 cats named "Marvin", "Bugsy", and "Rowdy" to play with! His new mom is a vet, so he will receive only the best of care for the rest of his life. The dogs can go to work with their mom which will help him to continue to work on socialization and gaining confidence. Kelly looks forward to lots of walks in town, runs in the country, and lounging around with her new addition.

Blue

Adopted 10-24-07

Blue went to his forever home with Amy, her boyfriend, Laslow, and his son in Denver. It was love at first sight and they gave him lots of hugs and kisses to let him know he is finally home forever! They recently lost their Dane/Mastiff mix to cancer and are thrilled to have another gentle giant in the house again. He will be the only dog for the moment but they plan to get him another 4 legged friend to play with after he settles in. His new mom has owned 6 Danes over the past 20 years, so he is in wonderful, experienced hands and will only receive the best of care!

Jade

Adopted 10-25-07

Jade went to her forever home with Regan and Kirby in Franktown. She has two cats to play with and they were instant friends! Her new mom is studying to be a vet tech and works at Seven Hills Veterinary Center, so she is in wonderful hands and will receive only the best of care! Her new parents work opposite shifts, so someone will be home with her most of the time and she will rarely have to be left alone. They are also fully committed to continuing to work with her on training and socialization. Jade has 10 acres to run and play on in the country and horses to hang out with too!

Raptor

Adopted 10-25-07

Raptor went to his forever home with Shaunta and her boyfriend, Carlos, in Denver. He has a wise older lab brother named Chip to show him the ropes and the two were immediate friends. They have decided to rename him Antaeus after a ancient Greek God known for his invincible strength. They had a new dog bed, toys and a gentle leader all waiting for him. They could not get over how cute he was!

Daisy

Adopted 10-28-07

Daisy went to her forever home with Dean, Bonnie, and their two boys, Aaron and Tony, in Loveland. She was reunited with her littermate, Osa(formerly Molly), and they were instantly wrestling and playing with each other! Someone is home most of the time and they have a big house and yard and plenty of love to give! Her new family is very experienced with the breed and committed to continuing to work on socialization and basic obedience as the girls grow up, so they are in wonderful hands!

Angel

Adopted 10-30-07

Angel went to her forever home with Brianne in Arvada. She will be the only dog and spoiled rotten with all the attention! Her mom had new raised feeders, a gentle leader, leash, toys, bed, crate and a lot of love waiting for Angel when she arrived. Angel spent a bit of time exploring and then found that laying on the carpet under the dining room table was a good place to camp out. Brianne is looking forward to introducing Angel to her families' dogs and taking her for lots of walks and possibly even to doggie daycare sometimes. She and her sister were so happy to have her there and will make sure she lives a long and happy life!

Piper

Adopted 11-1-07

Piper went to her forever home with Megan and Tanner in Morrison. She has a new 7 month old Mastiff brother named Harley to keep her company during the day and a kitty sibling too. Harley was pouncing and leaping around the yard in excitement as Piper explored her new surroundings. Her new family is looking forward to snuggeling on the couch and can't believe they finally are lucky enough to own a Great Dane! She will be very loved.

Onyx

Adopted 11-2-07

Onyx went to her forever home with Amanda, her husband, and their 2 kids in Fountain. She will have a cat to keep her company, but will be the only dog and spoiled rotten with all the attention! They look forward to taking her for lots of walks and trips to the dog park and are very active, which she will love. Her new family is also committed to continued training and will love her for the rest of her life!

Sammy

Adopted 11-3-07

Sammy went to his forever home with Lyn in Denver. He has a new Golden Retriever brother and they were playing together immediately! His new mom had all kinds of goodies waiting for him including toys, a new collar and leash, a gentle leader and a crate. Someone is home most days, so Sammy will rarely be left alone. They look forward to playing, taking walks and hikes together often. Lyn is committed to continue working with her new addition on obedience training and has really worked hard on training with her Golden, so Sammy is in great hands!

Hudson

Adopted 11-4-07

Hudson went to his forever home with John & Kathy in Colorado Springs. They adopted their first Dane, Osa, from RMGDRI also, so he is in wonderful hands! He has a Cocker brother named Franklin to show him the ropes as well and someone is home almost all the time, so they have lots of time to continue working on helping him to overcome his past abuse. He was immediately climbing in John's lap and leaning on his new mom. Hudson has a new coat and bed on order and a new raised feeder, food, and toys awaiting his arrival at home.

Elly (formerly Roxie)

Adopted 11-4-07

Roxie went to her forever home with Jeff & Amy in Omaha. They adopted their current Dane, Macy, from RMGDRI, so she is in wonderful hands and it will be the perfect environment for her to continue to build up her confidence! She also has a cat to keep her company. Her new parents couldn't believe how beautiful she was and will make sure she is spoiled and pampered for the rest of her life, just like she deserves!
