Gracie
Adopted 7-19-2008
Gracie had a few admirers
at the picnic this weekend, but Jean & Destiny were the lucky
ones that took her home. They had been looking at her picture on the
website everyday until the picnic, and couldn't believe how beautiful
she is in person. They said her personality made her even more beautiful.
Gracie immediately started to bond with her new mommies and chihuahua
sister yo yo. Gracie got a brand new gentle leader and leash, she
also enjoyed plenty of doggie ice cream. Jean, Destiny, Gracie &
Yo Yo are one big beautiful family. |

Kiowa
Adopted 7-19-2008
Kiowa had a lot of fun
this weekend turning heads at the picnic, and "swimming in
the doggie pools". Karen & Gary couldn't believe how perfect
Ky was and they fell in love with his teddy bear personality right
away. They were Ky's biggest admirers this weekend, and were ecstatic
when they found out he was their new boy. Ky got a new gentle leader
and plenty of pets from his new family. Karen & Gary have adopted
from us before, so Ky is good hands and very lucky to have his new
family.

Ace
Adopted 7-19-2008
Ace has found his forever
home with Tom and Monica in Monument. They picked him up at the
picnic yesterday and Ace seemed immediately to understand that this
was HIS family! He immediately started giving his new dad sloppy
kisses and big Dane leans. Monica couldn’t believe how gorgeous
their new boy was and had tears in her eyes when she met him. Ace
also met his new sibling, Dawn, a retired racing greyhound and everyone
got along just great. Tom and Monica have lots of rescue experience
and their home and lives are very oriented around their dogs. Ace
will be very loved and well-cared for the rest of his life! Monica
even got to talk to foster mom Denise by phone at the picnic to
assure her that Ace was doing great and that they just adore him.
