Jumangi

Adopted 7-17-2008

Jumangi is staying with Michelle in Aurora. Michelle has fostered Jumangi from the beginning and could not part with her. She will have a Dane, Pug, and Boston Terrier and cat to keep her company.

Gracie

Adopted 7-19-2008

Gracie had a few admirers at the picnic this weekend, but Jean & Destiny were the lucky ones that took her home. They had been looking at her picture on the website everyday until the picnic, and couldn't believe how beautiful she is in person. They said her personality made her even more beautiful. Gracie immediately started to bond with her new mommies and chihuahua sister yo yo. Gracie got a brand new gentle leader and leash, she also enjoyed plenty of doggie ice cream. Jean, Destiny, Gracie & Yo Yo are one big beautiful family.

Kiowa

Adopted 7-19-2008

Kiowa had a lot of fun this weekend turning heads at the picnic, and "swimming in the doggie pools". Karen & Gary couldn't believe how perfect Ky was and they fell in love with his teddy bear personality right away. They were Ky's biggest admirers this weekend, and were ecstatic when they found out he was their new boy. Ky got a new gentle leader and plenty of pets from his new family. Karen & Gary have adopted from us before, so Ky is good hands and very lucky to have his new family.

Ace

Adopted 7-19-2008

Ace has found his forever home with Tom and Monica in Monument. They picked him up at the picnic yesterday and Ace seemed immediately to understand that this was HIS family! He immediately started giving his new dad sloppy kisses and big Dane leans. Monica couldn’t believe how gorgeous their new boy was and had tears in her eyes when she met him. Ace also met his new sibling, Dawn, a retired racing greyhound and everyone got along just great. Tom and Monica have lots of rescue experience and their home and lives are very oriented around their dogs. Ace will be very loved and well-cared for the rest of his life! Monica even got to talk to foster mom Denise by phone at the picnic to assure her that Ace was doing great and that they just adore him.

Independence

Adopted 7-19-2008

Indy found his forever home with Nate and Cara in Aurora. She fostered for us before and Indy has Great Pyrenees mix brother to show him the ropes. She fell in love with the breed when she fostered Baby Duke and Faith and couldn't wait to add another mix to the family! Nate was unable to come to the picnic so we will post a family photo soon!

Sara

Adopted 7-19-2008

Sara went to her new home with Ray in Colorado Springs. He has a ton of dane experience so she is in wonderful hands. He has no other pets, is home most of the day, and can't wait to take her everywhere with him! As you can see from the photo, it was love at first sight!!

Jazzy

Adopted 7-19-2008

Jazzy found her new family with Leslie and Kurt of Denver. They have also adopted from us before and are suffering from empty nest syndrom. They met Jazzy at the Gray Kittie event and just fell in love. She will be the only 4-legged friend in the house so plenty of time and love to go around!

Token

Adopted 7-19-2008

Tanner (formerly Token) went to his new home with Michael and Karen of Brighton. They have adopted several danes from us and lost Cota not too long ago and their house just seemed way too empty. Tanner just loves his new parents, someone is home most of the time, and he is the only pet so there is plenty of love to go around!

Tank & Titan

Adopted 7-20-2008

Tank & Ty are going home with Nick & Lunelsy in Iowa. They drove all the way to Denver to get them. His new family had a whole bag of goodies waiting for them, including yummy treats and new jewelry! They have no children, so Tank & Ty will be two very spoiled brothers. They will have plenty of trails and parks to play in, and their new mom is always home to spend time with them. Nick & Lunelsy were in awe of their beauty when they first saw them, and couldn't wait to show them off to all their family & friends at home.

Sugar

Adopted 08-05-2008

Sugar went to her forever home with Geniva and Doug from Lafayette. They have been looking for a smaller dane mix to be buddy's with their current dog Moose who is a grayhound mix. Moose and Sugar had the tails a waggin' when they first met. Doug and Geniva couldn't get over how well Sugar does with only 3 legs. As you can see from the picture, Sugar was feeling very comfortable and had no problems asking for belly rubs!! She will be forever spoiled and she deserves it!

Britta

Adopted 08-06-2008

Britta found her new home with Marianne and her family in Ft. Collins. They were fostering her and they just can't let her go. She has made herself at home and fits perfectly into their pack. They have dane experience, live on some acreage, and their dogs are their babies! She will be loved forever and spoiled rotten!

Lili

Adopted 08-06-2008

Lili found her forever home with Matt and Chrystal of Broomfield. They have adopted 2 danes from us and they just recently lost their female. Leo was getting a bit depressed so they decided to give him another playmate! They drove out to Nebraska to pick her up so once they settle in we will post a success photo.

Ellie

Adopted 08-06-2008

Ellie went home with Paul and his family in Loveland. They live down the street from the folks who were fostering her and "stalked" Ellie everyday for her walk. They finally got the courage up to ask about her and found out she was looking for a new home!! They lost their dane about a year ago and just fell in love with Ellie. She has totally recovered and is looking good.

Sampson

Adopted 08-06-2008

Sampson went to his forever home with Joelle and Gabe in Greeley. They adopted Murphy (now Jacob) from us in December and thought Sampson needed a friend his size to play with. He also has 2 small dogs to hang with. Joelle is out of town on business and didn't want to leave her out of the picture so we will post that as soon as we get a complete family photo!
