Nelly

Adopted 08-23-2008

Nelly met her new Mom and Dad, Lana and Larry, in Glenwood Springs. Lana and Larry are experienced Dane people, and they fell in love with Nelly, whom they promptly renamed "Maya." Maya will have two other siblings: Aztec, a beautiful brindlequin dane, and Inca, a sweet, energetic, brindle dane/boxer mix. Maya will have a huge yard to play
in, and a house full of love for the rest of her days!

Zumba

Adopted 08-23-2008

Zumba went home with Marnie and her family. Marnie had adopted a dog aggressive dog from RMGDRI about 4 years ago show just passed away. Marnie just fell in love with Zumba. Zumba will be in good hands and can live out the rest of her life happy.

Drako

Adopted 08-30-2008

Drako went to his forever home with Susan, Ben, Louis and Ethan. They were very excited to meet each other. They had a new bed, leash, gentle leader and toys waiting for him. Drako was ready to go home and settled in with the boys right away. Ethan and Louis want Drako to
sleep in there room which will be just perfect for Drako. The family and Drako were lucky to find each other and they will take great care of him and give him all the love this sweet loving boy deserves.

Levi

Adopted 08-30-2008

Levi and Shane hit it off right away. Shane is very patient and realizes that having a dog with medical issues can be challenging but is totally up for that challenge. He has been preparing for a new Dane for over a month now and he was very excited to finally bring home his new family member.

Phoebe

Adopted 08-30-2008

Phoebe met her new forever family and was sharing sloppy puppy kisses all around. Leyna, Chris, Cary & Zach were all very excited to see the new addition to their family. They couldn't wait to see her playing with their family dog and settling in to her Forever Home.

Boz

Adopted 09-01-2008

Boz has finally found his forever home. Our little "delicate flower" can now relax with Jennifer and her Dochhound Mini for the rest of his days. Jennifer lives in Denver and hopes to begin volunteering for us but her focus right now is to get Boz comfortable in his new home. She was very patient with him and Boz and Mini were instant friends. She has been preparing for his arrival for several weeks now and could hardly contain her excitement. Jennifer will be sending more photos and frequent updates for all of us to see how he progresses.

Madison

Adopted 09-01-2008

Madison found her forever home with Anne and Mike in Omaha. Anne became familiar with the rescue at an event we had in July and put her application in on the spot. Anne, Mike and their 2 dogs (Chloe the Yorkie and Zues the min pin) came to a meet and greet last Saturday and saw Madison and fell in love with her. Madison gave her new dad a big kiss and her mom a good lean. Anne is planning on getting Madison certified as a therapy dog and joining RMGDRI as a volunteer so we will be seeing Madison at future events.

Kokoa

Adopted 09-04-2008

Kokoa met her new mom, Lisa and her boyfriend at a dog park and they knew her right away from her picture. They were in love from the moment they met! When it was time to leave, Kokoa just jumped in the back of their car and waited for them to get in. Lisa was extremely excited and couldn't wait to get Kokoa home to get settled.

Max

Adopted 09-04-2008

Max and the Kubik family were thrilled to meet each other. After a few sniffs and he and his new doggie brother were happy to have found each other. Max is in good hands!

Gilligan

Adopted 09-04-2008

Gilligan has found a wonderful home with Warren and Trina in Bennett. They had adopted from us before and Chance needed a playmate. They retruned to RMGDRI because of their positive experience with Chance, plus they are fond of Danes. Gilligan has 40 acres to share with Chance along with several barn cats, house cats, and 3 horses. Gilligan is sticking like glue to his new family and could not have found a more perfect family.

Lilli

Adopted 09-13-2008

Lilli found a wonderful forever home in Thornton with Frank and his girlfriend. In addition to her new Mom and Dad, Lilli will have a four-legged brother, a black Lab mix, to keep her company. Within minutes of meeting, Lilli and her new brother were already playing with each other. Lilli's new forever parents have been studying hand signal training so they can communicate with her despite her hearing impairment. She happily climbed inside her parent's car - even after the long ride from her foster home in Utah - eager to get to her new forever home.

Rogan

Adopted 09-13-2008

Rogan's new forever family, Chad and his two kids, drove all the way from Salt Lake City, Utah to Rawlins, Wyoming to pick him up. Mom stayed at home to mind the house. Rogan's new 2-legged siblings were so excited to see him, they just couldn't help throwing their arms around him to show him how much they love him already! In addition to his 2-legged siblings and Mom and Dad, Rogan will have two 4-legged siblings to keep him company - a yellow Lab and a Chow mix. Rogan's forever family is experienced with special needs dogs, so he will be in good hands. He happily jumped into his new truck for the long drive back to Utah.

Apollo

Adopted 09-13-2008

Apollo went to his forever home with Tom and Brydna and their three kids in Papillion Ne. Apollo will also have a Newfoundland and Lab to play with as well as two cats. His new parents were very excited to meet him and were eager to make him feel comfortable. Apollo quickly took comfort in Bryna’s comforting touch and did not want to leave her side. Apollo has found a great new home and will be forever loved with the Tim and Bryna.
