Lovey has found her home with Christi and her family in Steamboat Springs. She was so excited to get her new addition that she purchased a new car just to accomodate her. Christi just sent the Board a quick note to say that Lovey has settled right in and acts like she has always lived with her.

Sarah has fostered for RMGDRI for quite some time and when Carma came to live with her she just could not see her leaving. Sarah lives in Brighton and she has adopted from us before. Carma is in excellent hands! And the best news, Sarah will continue to foster for us.

Duke

Adopted 09-28-2008

Ruth and Greg of Elizabeth have found their perfect gentle giant in Duke. They have renamed him Zues and he is already enrolled in obedience class. Ruth and Greg have adopted from us before so Duke will have a playmate. Duke is enjoying spending time in the country.

Family photo coming soon.

Gunner

Adopted 09-28-2008

Gunner went home with the Matt & Kelly and their 2 children. They adopted Percy from us in April, so he will be in good hands and have a dane sister to play with. Kelly had the back of her van open with a nice big fluffy bed waiting for Gunner. He was so anxious to claim his new bed, that he "loaded up" before he even had his picture taken. Gunner is usually camera shy, but he was so happy to pose with his new mommy. He knew he would have a great life with his new family, and immediately felt comfortable with Kelly. Gunner is one lucky guy, and will have many years with his new family.

Ziggy

Adopted 10-02-2008

Ziggy went home with Ria and Greg from Aurora, Colorado. They are a very active couple and plan to take Ziggy hiking, camping, and they also play ultimate frisbee. Wonder if he will learn to catch? They don't have any other pets but have friends who plan to bring their dogs over as playdates for Ziggy. They were very excited to finally get him home and couldn't believe how cute he was!

Bonnie

Adopted 10-02-2008

Bonnie found her new home with Barbara and her husband in Salt Lake City, Utah. Bonnie is currently the only pet and will be spoiled. Her new family has had danes in the past along with other giant breeds so she is in wonderful hands. Barbara works from home and watches her grandchilden often so Bonnie will have plenty of company.

Dane

Adopted 10-05-2008

Dane is in good hands with Tom in Salt Lake City. Tom recently lost one of his Danes and wanted to find a playmate for his remaining Dane, Rex. Rex and Dane are going full speed and truly enjoying each other. Tom works from home and is very active. He can't wait to take Dane and Rex and many outings.

Marley

Adopted 10-05-2008

Marley is so happy to be spending the rest of her days with Cameron and Tess in Colorado Springs. They have an 8-month old Dane that was dying to have a playmate. Marley will also have two cats to enjoy at home as well. Cameron and Tess' work schedules are such that someone will be home with Marley most of the time. They are also very active and looking forward to many outings.

Annabelle

Adopted 10-11-2008

Annabelle found her forever home with Bob and Keri and family in Ashland, NE. They had met Annabelle thru her foster mom and fell in love with her. Her new family is well aware of all of Annabelle's insecurities and are committed to working thru them and helping her enjoy the rest of her life. Annabelle had new nyla bone, crate and a bright blue collar waiting for her and was investigating her new home with her new furry family when her foster mom left. Annabelle is now in her wonderful new forever home where she will learn how a sweet dog is suppose to be treated.

Carma (Kachina)

Adopted 10-11-2008

Lisa and her husband, Derek, of Longmont, were looking for the perfect Dane and Carma (Kachina) was it. She is so delighted with her new find that she is considering adopting a second Dane to keep Carma company. Carma now shares her house with an orange tabby cat (check out the pic) and they seem to like each other.

Rolex (Bodie)

Adopted 10-11-2008

Rolex (now Bodie) has found his forever home with Rachel and her sister Emily in Omaha. Rachel had met Bodie at the dog park where his foster mom would take him and fell in love with him and knew she wanted to adopt him. Rachel had to wait awhile to adopt him and in fact stopped checking the webpage as she was afraid she would see "adoption pending" under his picture. She couldn't believe her luck that he was still available to adopt. It had been awhile since she had seen him and was amazed how big he had gotten. Bodie was excited to see his new mom and had a new collar, toys, raised feeders and big fluffy dog bed waiting for him. Bodie is now home where he will enjoy all the love and pampering a puppy is suppose to get.

Sampson

Adopted 10-11-2008

Sampson will be spending the rest of his days with Josh and his family in Lakewood. The family has previous Dane experience and is well equipped to work with a deaf Dane. The kids were very excited to have a new gentle giant in the house. Their first stop was PetSmart to buy a new bed and toys.

"Lolli" will be living in Bellevue, Nebraska with Justin and Ann. She has a 4 year old lab sister to keep her on her toes. The two dogs were introduced two days ago and warmed right up to each other. They ran along the fence line in excitement when the neighbor's dog
came out to make his introductions. Then Kady (new sister) and Lolli were so
into their chase game, it caused some imbalance in us humans as they raced pass.

When we got to the Justin and Ann's, Lolli had a new collar, bowls and raised feeders waiting just for her. Lolli is now in a loving home where she can grow in confidence and feel loved from this day forward.
