Mack
Adopted 10-28-2008
Here is a picture of Mack's new family. The picture is missing
Barney, the cat, but his new family didn't think Barney would like
the dog park ;). This was the first of many visits to the dog park
with his sisters, Bailey and Yoyo, and his mommies Destiny and Jean.
He had a blast playing with all the dogs, but boy did he need a
bath. The look on everyone's faces as Mack and Bailey ran together
up to perfect strangers was priceless. Mack loves his sisters, and
Bailey adores her new big brother!! He is settling right in to his
new home...He still has a drinking problem and boy can he snore,
but he is a true gentle, loving soul!!!!

Donnie
Adopted 10-31-2008
Karen and Greg of Plattsmouth,
NE are long-standing volunteers for RMGDRI. They finally have become
foster failures (as most of us do) when Donnie came to stay with
them. Greg did not want to see this gentle giant leave and Karen
was easily convinced. He now has two Dobie siblings, Abby and Murray,
to play with and a cat, Cassie, to spend the rest of his days with.
He is in wonderful hands and we could not be happier for Karen,
Greg and Donnie.

have been waiting anxiously for Onyx to make his way from his foster

wanted a playmate for Sofie. They love going to the dog park. Onyx
has found his perfect forever family.

Goliath is happy as a
clam in his new home in Salt Lake City with Robert and Heather.
He has an Irish Wolfhound/Retriever mix as a new big sister. His
new family has renamed him Brutus and report that he is happily
playing with Tess, his new sibling. He has fully made himself at
home and even tries to sneak under the covers of our bed at night.
Heather wrote, "He is absolutely fantastic and we are so happy
to have him!".

Sampson
Adopted 11-08-2008
Sampson made his way
all the way home to New Mexico with Alma and Leo and his new Dane
sister, Samantha. Alma wanted a mama's boy to keep her company,
and Sampson is proving to be just that. He will have a birthday
cake every year, frequent trips to the dog park and his own full
size bed to sleep on. Sampson was also very excited about his new
sister, and they started wrestling right away. Alma & Leo have
20+ years Dane experience, so Sampson will be in good hands for
the rest of his life. |

Harlin
Adopted 11-08-2008
Harlin went to Lori's
as a temporary foster and never left. She and Bennie and the kids
have found her a perfect addition to their family and a wonderful
playmate for Bronc. She even is learning to not play too rough with
the cats. She is in good hands and we look forward to seeing her
at future events. |

Sasha
Adopted 11-08-2008
Sean and Allyson from
Salt Lake City were first time fosters for RMGDRI and could not
resist Sasha's sweet nature and she has now become a full time member
of their family. She will share the household with a Dane sister
and several rabbits. While we are sad to see Sean and Allyson stop
fostering, we are thrilled that Sasha has found such a wonderful
home. |

Marilyn
Adopted 11-15-2008
Marilyn has been in Rescue
for over a year and we are ecstatic that Laura in Colorado Springs,
CO has opened her home to one of our most senior Danes (in years
and time in Rescue). She absolutely adores her. Laura has adopted
from us previously and Marilyn will have a Dane sister, Surabi,
to play with. Laura lost another Dane unexpectedly to stroke and
was looking for a companion for Surabi. It was love at first sight.
Marilyn is in great hands.

Wrangler
Adopted 11-15-2008
Wrangler is making himself
at home with Heather in Bennett, CO. He will have another Dane as
a companion and a Boston Terrier. Heather was very excited to add
Wrangler to her pack and is sensitive to his timid nature. She spoke
at length with Wrangler's foster mom to get the insdie scoop. With
her Dane experience and patience, we are confident that Wrangler
is in excellent hands. |
