Heidi
Adopted 1-5-08
Heidi went to her forever
home with Nan & Garry in Evergreen. She has a Dane sister named
Dobie, who was also adopted from RMGDRI, to play and grow up with! She
also has an older Dane mix sister and 3 cats who will show her the ropes.
Heidi's new parents are home during the day, so she will get lots of
love and attention and they will have plenty of time to work on training
and socialization. She is in very experienced hands and will receive
nothing but the best of care.

Gracie

Gracie went to her forever
home with Deborah, her husband, and their 3 children in Colorado Springs.
She has a Husky mix brother named Jake and a deaf cat named JJ to keep
her company and the dogs were immediately playing! Her new family was
very excited about their beautiful new addition and look forward to
taking both dogs to the dog park and spoiling her rotten. |

Frances
Adopted 1-5-08
Frances went to her forever
home with Kim & Josh in Loveland. She has a new Border Collie/Lab
mix sister, cats, and horses to play with! Frances and Sage were playing
instantly in the backyard. Kim was extremely patient with Frances and
they have worked through timidness with their current dog, so she is in
wonderful hands. Frances found a nice place to stretch out and was clearly
feeling right at home. Even the cats seemed to welcome her to her new
home! |

Chopper &
Isabelle
Adopted 1-11-08
Chopper and Isabelle went
to their forever home with Chris & Richard in Lakewood. Their new
parents were very excited and had big plans for a sleepover in the basement
on futons after we left! Someone is home during the day which means
both dogs will rarely have to be left alone. They plan to continue Chopper's
therapy at Alameda East and will make sure he receives only the best
of care to ensure a long and healthy life. Izzy was jumping up and giving
hugs and play bowing instantly will her new brother. Chris and Richard
look forward to becoming volunteers and giving back to the rescue!

Riley (formerly
Bella)
Adopted 1-11-08
Bella went to her forever
home with Shannon in Denver. She will be the only dog and spoiled rotten
with all the attention! Her new mom was so excited she could hardly
contain herself over how beautiful her new little girl is. Bella looks
forward to being Shannon's running partner and will also get to go to
doggie daycare regularly, so she'll get plenty of exercise! She will
be very loved and pampered like she deserves. |

Loper
(formerly Jackson)
Adopted 1-12-08
Jackson went to his forever
home with Neil, Andrea, and their two kids in Centennial. He has a Dane
mix brother named Boomer, who was also adopted from RMGDRI, and a Great
Pyrenees mix brother named Cowboy to play with! Someone is home almost
all of the time and they go for regular trips to Cherry Creek Dog Park.
All the dogs are spoiled rotten and even get to go on vacation with the
family in an RV they got just so their 4-legged kids could come too! His
new family decided to rename him "Loper" after a character in
the "Hank the Cowdog" series since he has a goofiness about
him and is also so very mellow.

Tex went to his forever home
with Shane & Lindsay in Avon. He has a Dane sister named Piper and
a Rottweiler sister named Chase to play with and they were all instant
friends! His new parents thought he was very handsome and they were headed
straight to the dog park to play. Tex will rarely be left alone and his
new parents are committed to continuing to work on leadership training
and socialization, so he is in good hands. He will be very loved and spoiled! |

Kodak

Kodak went to her forever home
with Holly and her son Blake in Morrison. They were fostering her and
fell in love! They are thrilled to make her a permanent member of their
family and look forward to continuing to foster so she will always have
other Danes to play with. Someone is home most of the time, so she will
rarely have to be left alone and will always get plenty of love and attention.
We look forward to seeing them all at future events! |

Preston

Preston went to his forever
home with Josh & Allison in Bailey. He will be the only dog and has
a cat to keep him company. Josh grew up with Danes and is thrilled to
have another gentle giant in the house again! They were both amazed at
what a big boy he is and were almost knocked over with his big Dane lean.
They were excited to show him off to everyone at the fire house and bought
him a new leash, gentle leader, and lots of toys to play with! They look
forward to taking him to obedience classes and loving him to pieces. |

Rocky went to his forever
home with Jonathan & Liz in Salt Lake City. They adopted their first
Dane, Lola, from RMGDRI and are thrilled to have another gentle giant
to open their heart and home to! The dogs were instant friends and were
playing right off the bat. His new family thinks he is wonderful and
will make sure he lives a long and happy life with them. |

Bella and Pinkerton went to
their forever home with Rick, Teri, and their three kids in Mead. They
were fostering them both and simply fell in love and wanted to make them
a permanent part of the family. Someone is home all the time basically,
so they will rarely be left alone. They have a huge yard to run and play
in and lots of toys and attention. They adore each other as well and were
instant friends! |

Josiah went to his forever home
with Greg, his wife, and their two kids in Westminster. He took to his
new family immediately and they are excited for the opportunity to continue
working on training and socialization with this sweet pup as he continues
to grow! They will make sure that he is very loved and spoiled for the
rest of his days and only receives the best of care. |

Duke went to his forever home
with Fran, her husband, and their two kids in Colorado Springs. He has
an Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix sister, a Terrier/Heeler mix
brother, and a cat to play with! They were instant buddies with tails
wagging and were clearly going to be good friends. Fran started crying
when she saw him and they were amazed at what a handsome, well-behaved
boy he is! They are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with a special
needs Dane. |

Scooby with to his forever
home with Dave and Michelle in Arvada. They have decided to rename him
"Bishop". They could not believe how sweet and loving he is
or their luck at finding such a special boy! They had a new bed, collar,
name tag, raised feeders and crate waiting for him at home. They are
very excited to continue working on Bishop's socialziation and obedience
and were very grateful to RMGDRI for giving this sweet boy a chance
at a new life! He will be very spoiled.

Addison

Addison went to her forever
home with Brien, Lesley, their daughter, and Granny in Aurora. Her new
family recently lost their first dane, adopted from RMGDRI in 2003, and
are thrilled to have another gentle giant to share their home with. Addie,
who is typically shy with new people, was incredibly happy when she met
her new mom, wagging her tail so hard that she swayed side to side. When
it was time to go, she happily jumped into the back of the car without
a glance back! She has a twin bed to sleep on at her new home and a new
leash and collar. Someone is always home, so Addie will always have someone
to keep her company. She has finally found the perfect home! |

Emily went to her forever home
with Anne, Mike, and their kids, Aryelle and Chance, in Bucyrus. They
adopted their current Dane, Trinity, from RMGDRI last year and decided
one gentle giant was not enough! Emily also has a German Shepherd brother
named Zeke, an Italian Greyhound named Lexi, a cat named Mouser, and Sugar
Gliders named Laury, LuLu, Bailey, and Oliver to play with! Someone is
almost always home, so she will get lots of love and attention. |

Patty

Patty went to her forever home
with Fleta and her boyfriend in Aurora. She will be the only dog, but
she has a new kitty sister to keep her company. They decided to name her
Peppermint Patty and she already had her new name on her stylish new pink
collar for her. They also had a Kong, new Gentle Leader, new crate, and
treats for her when she arrived and a bed on the way. They look forward
to taking Peppermint Patty on lots of walks, hiking, camping, and even
doggie daycare! |

Duke went to his forever home
with Greg & Kristy in Denver. He has a Dane sister named Snickers
and a Greyhound brother named Tiger who were both rescued also. His new
parents are volunteers and foster for our organization, so he is in wonderful
hands! Someone is home almost all the time and he will rarely be left
alone. Duke fit into the pack perfectly and his new family looks forward
to continuing to work with him on training and socialization. He will
be very loved! |

June Bug went to her forever
home with Mike, Allison, and their two kids in Evergreen. She has a Beagle
brother and a Lab/Newfoundland mix brother to play with and they were
instant friends! She has a great big yard to run and play in as well and
will get all the love and attention a girl could dream of. Her new family
couldn't get over how beautiful she is and they fell in love at first
sight. |
