Macy (formerly Barbie)

Adopted 2-27-08

Barbie went to her forever home with Paul, Julie, and their son Riley in Colorado. The lost their last rescue Dane recently, so they are thrilled to have another gentle giant in the house again. They can't believe how beautiful and special their new addition is and have decided to rename her Macy. Macy made herself right at home in front of the fire and quickly claimed her spot on the couch. She will be very loved and spoiled and her new mom is home during the day, so she'll rarely have to be left alone!

Duke

Adopted 2-29-08

Duke went to his forever home with Kevin & Linda in Westminster. They have owned several deaf Danes and are thrilled to have another to love and take care of! Duke has a Dane sister and a Saint Bernard brother to keep him company as well. Kairah will show him the ropes and Duke and Orion were instantly play bowing and running circles in the back yard together! They were all thrilled and he is the perfect new addition to their family.

Jack

Adopted 2-29-08

Jack went to his forever home with Josh & Kristine in Highlands Ranch. He has a Beagle/Lab mix brother named Bailey and they were instant friends! His new parents were very excited about their new addition and look forward to taking him to obedience classes and for trips to the dog park. They were also excited to become volunteers and help out at upcoming events. Jack will be very loved and well-cared for, just like he deserves!

Floyd (formerly Frank)

Adopted 3-1-08

Frank went to his forever home with Susan in Denver. He has a cat to play with and his mom works from home, so he'll rarely be left alone and will get lots of love and attention! His new mom volunteers at Boulder Humane and has lots of foster experience, so he is in wonderful hands! She hopes to eventually sign up to volunteer and foster for RMGDRI as well, once she gets Frank settled. It was love at first sight and she already has him signed up for obedience classes!

Daisy

Adopted 3-1-08

Daisy went to her forever home with Sharon & Roger in Colorado Springs. She has a Chihuahua brother named Rico and three cats to keep her company! Someone is home all the time, so she will rarely have to be left alone and they will have lots of time to work on training and socialization. Her new mom has owned Danes previously and is thrilled to have another soon to be gentle giant in the house again. They are also volunteers, so we look forward to seeing them all at future events.

Orion

Adopted 3-1-08

Orion went to his forever home with Jean Ann and her husband in Denver. He has several cats and a German Shepherd mix brother named Timber to play with! They are experienced with the breed and thrilled to have another gentle giant in the house again. Jean fosters cats currently and used to work at DDFL and she is a big supporter of animal rights, so he is in wonderful hands! They were thrilled with their handsome new addition and will make sure he is spoiled rotten and happy in his new home.

Capone

Adopted 3-1-08

Capone went to his forever home with Chris and Karen in Omaha. He has a Dane mix brother named Guinness to play with and they love to run around the backyard chasing each other and squirrels and rabbits. They are quite the pair of goofballs! His new parents look forward to taking him for lots of walks and trips to the dog park to show him off. He will be very loved and spoiled forever.

Atlas

Adopted 3-1-08

Atlas went to his forever home with Ed, Tracy, and their two kids in Thornton. They just recently lost their last rescue Dane and are thrilled to share their hearts and home with another big dog! He will be the only dog and spoiled rotten with all the attention. Someone is also almost always home, so he will rarely have to be left alone. His new family looks forward to showing him off to all their friends and family.

Osa

Adopted 3-1-08

Osa went to her forever home with Jennifer, her husband, and their two kids, Aslyn and Morgan, in Thornton. She has a Dane brother named Oreo to play with and a turtle to keep her company! Oreo was thrilled to finally have another playmate around after the family lost their last Dane a year ago. Someone is home almost all the time, so she won't get lonely and will get plenty of attention and training!

Ellie

Adopted 3-3-08

Ellie went to her forever home with Brien, Lesley, and their daughter, Riley, in Aurora. They are experienced with the breed and thrilled with their new baby! They think she is absolutely beautiful and can't wait to take her to training classes and for trips to the dog park for play dates. Someone is always home and they have lots of love to give! They will make she gets everything she needs to live a long and happy life with their family.

Dottie

Adopted 3-8-08

Dottie has a home with Carly, Dustin and their baby in Loveland. They have a 1.5 year old male Dane named Mickey for her to play with. Carly works nights as a nurse and Dustin works days as a firefighter, so someone is basically always home. She and her new brother got along right away and were wrestling and running laps in the back yard! They were so happy to have a play mate for their other dane and thought she was gorgeous! They were going to go to Petsmart and get her a new collar and some new toys after we left! She will be very loved.

Moose

Adopted 3-9-08

Moose went to his forever home with Dave and Kelly in Colorado Springs. They have a German Shepherd/Beagle mix for him to play with and keep him company. His new parents couldn't get over what a handsome new addition they have and can't wait to show him off to all their friends and family. They will make sure that he has whatever he needs to live a long and healthy life with their family. Moose will be very loved and spoiled.

Cisco (formerly Apollo)

Adopted 3-9-08

Apollo went to his forever home with Stacey and Andrew in Colorado Springs. He has a Dane brother named Poncho and a cat named Cammie to keep him company! He and his new brother got along right away and are fast becoming best friends. They have decided to renamed him Cisco and are overwhelmed with happiness over their new addition. He will be very loved and spoiled for the rest of his life.

Annabelle

Adopted 3-12-08

Annabelle went to her forever home with Rob and his fiance Michelle in Thornton. She has a new Weimaraner brother named Major to play with! They hit it off instantly and were running laps around the backyard together. Her new parents thought she was beautiful and can't believe their good fortune! They will do everything they can to ensure she has a long and happy life with them.

TJ

Adopted 3-15-08

TJ went to his forever home with Jennifer and Chad in Dillon. They lost their previous Dane, Duke, who they adopted from RMGDRI last year, and are thrilled to have another gentle giant to love and adore! It was love at first sight and they took him shopping for a big, new cushy dog bed after his arrival. TJ will have 2 cats to keep him company and someone is home almost all the time so he will rarely have to be left alone. They will make sure that he has everything he needs to live a long and happy life with them!

Milo

Adopted 3-15-08

Milo went to his forever home with Ryan in Denver. Milo will be the only dog for now, but he has lots of neighbor dog friends to hang out with at the park! His new Dad had a new leash, collar and gentle leader for him! He also plans to get him more stuff at the store today! Milo will get to go on lots of walks and he has been invited to come to Camp Bow Wow to play as a "special guest" anytime! His new Dad is dedicated to helping Milo build more confidence and come out of his shell.

Kujo

Adopted 3-15-08

Kujo went to his forever home with Julie and her husband in St Paul. He has a Brittany Spaniel and a German Shorthair Pointer to keep him company and play with! It was love at first sight and there was an instant bond between Kujo and his new mom. She was thrilled to have another Dane to be her constant companion after losing her last one to heart failure. Kujo will be very loved and spoiled in his new home and will receive only the best of care.

Petey (formerly Zeus)

Adopted 3-15-08

Zeus went to his forever home with Peggy and Michael in Longmont. He has a Dane brother named Gus, cats, horses, goats, and buffalo to play with and keep him company! His new parents have lots of experience with giants breeds, so he is in wonderful hands. Someone is also home almost all the time, so he will get plenty of love and attention and will rarely be left alone. They were thrilled with their new gentle giant and can't wait to help him gain confidence and get settled and comfortable in his forever home.
