Adopted 2-7-09
After two weeks of planning,
and three days on the road, Reina finally arrived home this morning
to her new parents, Jerry and Judy, and her Dane brother, Tucker
in Eureka, MT. She and Tucker are adjusting to each other and they
look like they will become best of buddies. Reina explored every
niche and cranny in the house and backyard. She discovered a big
basket of stuffed animals and carries them along with her tug of
war rag toy from room to room. She found soft dog beds and blankets
in every room and very quickly learned where we keep the dog cookies.
She sits in front of the cans waiting for one to fall out. She is
a very smart doggie. Jerry said she was the best traveling companion.
Reina has yet to meet the cat. That will be interesting....just
when the cat thought she was the queen. |
