Danielle

Adopted 4-24-09

Danielle, now Calypso, went to her forever home with Amanda, Josh and their son Fredric in Greenwood, Nebraska! Calypso has a Great Dane brother named Khubilia who was adopted from the Humane Society and needed a friend to play with. Amanda has volunteered for the RMGDRI for about three years and was the first to start fostering in Nebraska. Calypso was happy to meet her new mom and brother. They got
special beds for them both and made an appointment with Calypso's new vet for a meet and greet. Calypso will now have the love of a family and enjoy indoor living and playing in a yard for the rest of her life!

Izzy

Adopted 4-24-09

Izzy has gone home with Elizabeth and her boyfriend in Mantou Springs! The couple has been fostering to adopt Izzy for several weeks. During that time, she came out of her shell and is no longer afraid of men. Elizabeth has two cats so Izzy will be the only dog—and spoiled rotten! They are looking forward to lots of walks and trips to the dog
park.

Moose

Adopted 4-25-09

Merle Moose has gone home with Matt in Orem, Utah! Matt currently has no other pets but hopes to get another dog once Moose settles in. Matt has no kids and works from home three days a week, so Moose will be in great company!

Salem

Adopted 4-25-09

Salem has gone home with Jake and his family in Aztec, New Mexico! They currently have no other pets and two young children, so Salem will get the royal treatment! And Jake’s wife is a stay-at-home mom, so Salem will rarely be left alone. They look forward to lots of trips to the park and hikes with their newest family member!

Duke

Adopted 4-26-09

Duke has gone home with Jeff & Mondy in Olathe, KS! The couple adopted Zena, a female fawn Dane, from us last summer, and she needs a playmate! They have about 10 acres of fenced yard for Duke to run and play and, in addition to Zena, four kids and a Lab mix to keep him company. Mindy works from home three days a week so he won't be without his humans much.

VanGogh

Adopted 4-27-09

VanGogh has gone home with Cheryl and Don in Parker, Colorado! The couple is Dane experienced and currently has two Pappilions. Both Don and Cheryl work from home and they live on some acreage, so VanGogh will have plenty of room to stretch his legs! They are very excited to have another Dane in the house and look forward to spending lots of time with their new addition to the family – out in the yard and on
the couch watching TV!

Apollo

Apollo arrived at Rosi and her family's home full of energy and undersocialized. She worked very hard on Apollo's training but felt more was needed. He is one of RMGDRI's Board & Train success stories. Apollo came back a new dog! Rosi and her family had grown very close to him during this period and could not part with him. He is now a permanent member of their family.

Posha

Posha has gone home with Misty and her family in Aurora, Colorado! Misty currently has a Miniature Dachshund. She has two children, ages 5 and ten, and her husband doesn't work regular hours so Posha will have lots of love and company. Misty heard about the Rescue on PetLine 9!

Fezzig

Fezzig has gone home with Shannon and his girlfriend Regina in Broomfield, Colorado! Shannon grew up with Great Danes and can't wait to add one to his family. He currently owns a female Golden Retriever who is in desperate need for a canine buddy! They are a very active young couple so Fezzig has a lot of camping, hiking and love in his future.

Diamond

Diamond has gone home with Lisa and Joe in Woodland Park! The couple has adopted from the Rescue in the past, and after losing their boy this winter, they just couldn't live without a Dane in the house! They currently have a 12-year-old Beagle and a 6-year-old Blue Heeler, so Diamond will have plenty of company! She will be spoiled rotten and will be in loving hands for all her days.

Tyger

Tyger has gone home with Todd and his family in Olathe, Kansas! The couple runs a gift shop that is attached to the house, so Tyger will get a lot of social interaction and get to hang out with her humans to her heart’s content! They also have a three-month-old Dachshund puppy and Todd’s wife fosters for the Doxy rescue, so this sweet girl will
have plenty of small friends to play with and lots of love for the rest of her life.

Dana

Dana has gone home with TJ and Tammera in Grand Junction, Colorado! The couple has no other pets so Dana will be spoiled rotten, and Tammera grew up with Danes and can't wait to have another. They are very excited for lots of rafting and camping trips – not to mention walks through the foothills!

Hank

Hank has gone home with Shane and Kim in Greeley, Colorado! The couple has adopted from the Rescue before so this lucky boy will be in very good hands. They also have two other Danes and a cat to keep him company. One Dane is fairly senior so Hank will be a good playmate for the younger Dane – and finally allow the older sibling some well-deserved peace and quiet! Shane and Kim have always owned Danes and can't wait to add another to the family.

Delilah has gone home with Marrianne and her family in Denver, Colorado! Marrianne is a teacher and will have all summer to bond with the lovely Delilah. The family also has a male dog and two cats to keep this sweet girl in good company. They walk twice a day and live across the street from a dog park. Delilah is drooling ….

Myra has gone home with Bobby in Lakewood, Colorado! Bobby has had Akitas in the past and is looking for a "not so high maintenance" dog. He is single and young with no other pets or children. He's also very active, so Myra will get lots of well-deserved attention and activity!

Max

Max has gone home with Blair in Chicago, Illinois! Blair's parents live in Omaha, Nebraska and come to almost every Rescue event in the state. They are huge supporters and adopted Max for Blair as a gift. Blair is Dane experienced, has no children and currently owns a Golden Retriever and a Springer Spaniel, so Max will have lots of canine friends! Blair is very excited about the addition and can't wait have another Dane in her home! She works from home several days a week, so Max won't be left alone long and will always have his four-legged buddies to pal around with!

Maddy

Maddy's foster Dad, Jim, in Denver, CO could not let Maddy go. He has had 5 Danes throughout his lifetime and it was time for a new family member. Maddy will have a Great Dane older brother to show her the ropes. Maddy couldn't be happier about her new family.

Buster has gone home with Scott and Susan and their family in Superior. Colorado! Buster was introduced with great success to their two other dogs. Scott spent a lot of time getting to know Buster and helping establish his role in the pack, asking questions to ensure that the family would give Buster the best possible care. Buster is a lucky dog who will have a strong leader to help him transition into a great family!
