Bossy/Gump

Adopted 07/10/09

Bossy and Gump came from AZ very scared but Debbie and Jesse from Loveland, CO were willing to give them a chance. They were looking for two danes in the long run and have no problem with the shy ones...they actually prefer them. They met Gump and Bossy on Friday and fell in love!! They have no other pets as they lost their previous Dane this winter that they adopted from us. Their son also has a Dane so they are planning some play dates for them to help them come out of their shell.

Family photo coming soon.

Aggie

Adopted 07/11/09

Aggie was a return that became part of our Foster to Adopt program. Steve and his family in Superior, CO were the lucky family to welcome Aggie into their home. They had a trainer come to the house on Thursday to be sure they were making the right decision so we know they are certainly committed to her. They currently have no other pets but they are also going through the adoption process with the Golden Retriever rescue for a friend for Aggie. He has 2 teenage girls who will be the prime care givers.

Roxie

Adopted 07/15/09

Roxie has gone home with Traci and Zach in Omaha! When the couple picked her up, they barely got in the door before Roxie jumped up and hugged Traci and gave her kisses! What a great way to start off a lifetime of love. Traci and Zach were very excited to get to take Roxie home. She is in very good hands and will definitely be spoiled
rotten. Traci said they plan to bring Roxie to future RMGDRI events, so we'll get to see how they're doing together, as well as show them all off as another success for the Rescue!

Rocky

Adopted 07/29/09

Rocky has gone home with Michelle in Westminster! Michelle is a
volunteer for us so we are happy that Rocky will be at events in the
future here in Colorado. And, we know Rocky will be in excellent hands
for the rest of his life!

Kobe

Adopted 07/29/09

Kobe has gone home with Cristal and Russ and their four children in
Colorado Springs! The family currently fosters for the Rescue (they
have Justice and love her!) and have a 9-month-old German Shepard
puppy, so Kobe will have lots of canine friends. And Christal is a
stay at home mom, so Kobe will not be left home alone often. The kids
are very excited to have a special needs Dane in the house. Christal
has a background in nursing and special assistance so he will be in
great hands.

Mac

Adopted 08/01/09

Mac, now known as Duke, has found his forever home with April and her boyfriend Tenn in Omaha. April and Tenn had just been approved to be a foster home when Duke came into rescue and it didn't take April long to know that she was going to be a foster failure. Duke has a couple large pillows, a brand new crate, collars, food bowls all waiting for him when he got to the house and went on a trip to the pet store for toys shortly after his arrival. We are excited that we will be seeing April and Duke alot as they are planning on becoming volunteers.

Boo

Adopted 08/01/09

Boo has gone home with Matt in Littleton! Matt currently has no other pets, but he and is brother have a number of friends with dogs and live very close to the dog park. They met Boo at the Hero's event and fell in love with him! No doubt Boo will be their "Velcro dog" -- they plan to take her everywhere!

Duke

Adopted 08/04/09

Duke has gone home with Sadie in Denver! Sadie adopted a pup from the RMGDRI two years ago, so Duke will have a sister to play with! The family also has a cat for him to run around with. Sadie can't wait to have another Dane in the house!

Roxie

Adopted 08/04/09

Roxie has gone home with Joy, who is fostering her! Joy just can't stand to part with her. She loves the ranch and the clients there and the other two Danes love her to death!

Zeus

Adopted 08/04/09

Zeus has gone home with Lindsay in Highlands Ranch! Lindsay currently has three cats and a horse and takes the dog to the stables with her daily, so Zeus will have a lot of exploring to do! She has no children, but all of her family members live close by and have both kids and dogs for Zeus to pal around with. Lindsay is a runner and was looking for a partner! She also comes home at lunch every day to exercise her pets.

Meesha

Adopted 08/04/09

Meesha has gone home with Shane and Nicole in Ft. Collins! The couple was so excited about getting her. They currently have a cat for her to socialize with. They also live across the street from the dog park and hope to adopt another Dane soon!

Family photo coming soon.

Apollo

Adopted 08/04/09

Apollo has gone home with Crystal and her husband, who fostered him! Crystal's husband has become attached to Apollo and has recently been diagnosed with some liver problems. He is struggling and Apollo knows how to make him laugh and keeps his spirits high! Crystal is a vet tech so she is well equipped to keep this sweet boy healthy! Apollo will have a lot of playmates in his new home, including a two-year-old Dane, 1.5-year-old Standard Poodle and a one-year-old Standard Poodle and cat. We know he will be in excellent hands for the rest of his many happy days!

Family photo coming soon.

Andre

Adopted 08/04/09

Andre has gone home with Lyndsay and Nick in Council Bluffs, Iowa! Andre was a "foster to adopt" for the couple, who fell in love with him instantly! This sweet boy was in four homes in two weeks, so we're thrilled that he has finally found his home. The couple doesn't have any children, but they adopted Tytan and Tank from the RMDGRI last year, so Andre will have plenty of playmates! Lyndsay plans to continue fostering once Andre settles in and is also going to begin volunteering for us!

Monty

Adopted 08/04/09

Monty has gone home with Amy in Colorado Springs! Monty is Amy's first Dane, and the match couldn't have been better. He took to her right away during the meet and greet and whined when she left him! She has no pets but she does have two kids to keep him on his toes! What's more, Amy is also a stay at home mom so Monty won't be left alone often.
