Caden
Adopted 08/08/09
Caden has finally found
the perfect home with Sandy and her family in Papillion, NE. Caden
went on the home check and they fell in love. The best part is they
will be close to his foster family to help them with the transition
and to be sure Caden doesn't take any steps backwards. She doesn't
have any pets currently but they are dedicated to keeping him socialized.
They have two kids - 6 and 16 so he will have plenty of company
as Sandy works from home! |

Emma

Emma has found her forever
home with Joe and Patrick in Denver. They live across the street
from a dog park and they own a cat. They are very exited to have
a Dane in there home! They work alternate schedules so someone is
home most of the time. They do a lot of walks around Wash Park and
they hope to volunteer for us soon! |

Gus
Adopted 08/08/09
Dean & Katey Alleman of Bellevue, NE absolutely fell in love
with Gus. They are new to the breed and Gus will be their only dog.
They currently have two cats. They are a very active family with
a 10 year old son. They enjoy spending time at the park and being
with families that have dogs as well. Gus will be well socialized
and be an integral part of the family's activities.

Bonnie

Bonnie has a new home
with Holger and Patti and their two daughters of Bailey, CO. There
10 year old daughter is ecstatic about bringing a puppy into the
home. They currently have no dogs, just 2 cats, so Bonnie will be
spoiled rotten. Patti home schools her girls so they will be home
to continue training and socialization ensuring Bonnie grows up
to be a wonderful companion. Bonnie has found a wonderful home. |

Prince

Prince has gone home
with Audria and her sister in Denver! The pair adopted from the
Rescue previously but, unfortunately, had to put him down recently.
Prince will be the only pet in their home and spoiled rotten! They
are very active with the Rescue and attend many of the events and
dog washes, so we're sure to see Prince continue to grow and thrive!
They also have time to come home during the day to let him out and
spend quality time together. |

Cleo

Cleo has gone home with
Guenevere and Jeff in Papillion, Nebraska! The couple met her on
their home check and fell in love with her. They currently have
a 6-year-old male Dane who needs someone to keep him company, and
Cleo was a perfect match! They also have two young children, so
she will have plenty of people to give her all the love and attention
she so deserves.

Drake
Adopted 08/18/09
Drake has gone home with
Cari in Logan, Utah! Cari met Drake and immediately fell in love
with him. It's the first dog for both Cari and her partner, and
they are very excited to have a Dane in the house. Drake also has
two cats to keep him company, and both owners are able to come home
at lunch to play with and exercise him. We are confident Drake is
in very good hands! |

Lucie

Lucie has gone home with
Pat and Betsy in Albuquerque, New Mexico! Pat and Betsy say Lucie
is exactly what they were looking for. They have had Danes in the
past and miss having one in the house. They also currently have
a cat so Lucie will be getting all of the canine attention! The
pair have a teenage daughter, as well, so Lucie won't have to spend
much time alone.

June Bug

June Bug has gone home
with Sharon in Aurora! Sharon has two cats and plans to take June
Bug everywhere, so she will be very well socialized. Sharon is Dane
experienced and is looking forward to having a "Dane hybrid"
to pal around with. She also has a teenage
child to give June Bug some extra love and attention. |

Athena

Athena has gone home
with Jeff, Lisa, Nichole, Morgan, Connor and Lab Maggie in Nebraska!
Lisa and the kids have been looking for the perfect Great Dane and
Athena, who was being fostered in Colorado, had a visit from Nichole,
who is in school in Colorado, to see if she was a good fit. Before
we knew it, Athena was on her way to Nebraska! Athena and the family
Lab Maggie get along great and Maggie is doing a stellar job of
showing Athena the ropes in her new home and state. We’re
excited that the adoptive family is interested in becoming active
volunteers with the RMGDRI and will be seeing them this weekend
at our event! |

Justice
Adopted 08/23/09
Justice has gone home
with Brad and his family in Parker, Colorado! They met Justice at
the Evergreen event and fell in love with her. There is plenty of
room for Justice to run at their home and they are very Dane experienced.
The family currently has a 2-year-old Golden
Retriever to keep her company. They also have four children, ranging
in age from 9 to 14, and someone is almost always home. Justice
has finally found her forever home! |

Kali

Kali has gone home with
Rory and Kim in Albuquerque, New Mexico! The couple has a 1-year-old
female Heeler mix and two cats; they are also Dane experienced.
The pair's last Dane had some behavioral issues, so they are one-hundred
percent committed to keeping up with her training. Both Rory and
Kim are real estate agents, so they are home often and both have
home offices. In addition, Rory has family in Colorado Springs so
they are planning to make the trip to Colorado to pick her up.

Kita

Kita has gone home with
Lisa and Pete in Golden, Colorado! Kita has seen with the family
for a few days and, despite an initial rough patch, Kita is now
getting along with everyone. Lisa has a female Lab mix and a cat
so Kita will have a playmate around. Lisa is also Dane
experienced and is excited to have another big dog in the house.
The couple does not have any children and Lisa works from home.
They know how important socializing is so Kita will be getting out
and about very soon! |

Ivan &
Uma

Ivan and Uma have gone
home with Blake and Heather in Golden, Colorado! The couple have
been watching them for weeks now and they get along famously! They
currently have no other pets, but have had Springer Spaniels in
the past and are looking forward having calmer dogs. They have two
small children and Heather is a stay-at-home mom, so the pair won't
be left alone often. Heather and Blake are also looking forward
to lots of walks and trips to the park. We are so excited that these
two will be able to stay together! |

Jax

Jax has gone home with
Jodi and her family from Thornton, Colorado! The family met Jax
and the RMGDRI at ThorntonFest. They currently have no other dogs,
two cats and two children, ages 11 and 18, so Jax will have lots
of company! In addition, Jodi works from home so Jax will rarely
be left alone. The family is very active and enjoys camping and
hiking, so Jax will be well socialized and have lots of opportunities
to play outdoors!
