Tiffany and her family in Omaha! The family fostered Titan and couldn't
bear to part with him. This lucky boy will have four children to
keep him active and occupied! He will also have a gigantic back
yard to romp around in and a Lab brother to play with. We're sure

Madison
Adopted 08/30/09
Madison has gone home
with Chelsey and her family in Denver! The family has been fostering
Madison and can't help but keep her. They have been calling her
Abby for quite some time, so she's likely in for a name change.
She is wonderful with the daycare kids at the home and has already
made friends with the neighbor's Lab. We are confident she will
be in wonderful hands!
Family photo coming soon.

Minna
Adopted 08/30/09
Minna has gone home with
Rob, Jami and their family in Omaha! The family lost their Dane
Duchess last year and their house hasn't been the same without a
four-legged friend around, so they decided to provide a home to
a Dane in need. Rob, Jami and their sons came to our meet-and-greet
last weekend and spotted Minna right away. They spent the week thinking
about it and, after coming to see her this weekend, decided she
was the one! While Minna's foster mom was surprised that she was
leaving at the event, we were all excited to see Minna go to her
forever family. Once the success photo was taken, the family was
off to Petsmart for new a new collar, leash, bowls, toys and pillow.
Rob and Jami are planning to come to future events to keep up Minna's
socialization -- so we will be seeing them again soon! |

Chopper
Adopted 08/30/09
Cooper (formerly Chopper)
has gone to his forever home with Staci in Colorado! Upon picking
up her new boy, the pair went for a hike and got to know each other
better. Staci packed up the car and Cooper didn't hesitate to hop
right into into his dog bed! Cooper will have lots of animal siblings
in his new family, as well as acres and acres to run and play
with his new Doberman sister Sam. Staci's family is very well versed
in horse rescue and will give Cooper all the time and patience he
needs to adjust to his new home. We know he will be in excellent hands
for all his years to come! |

Osa
Adopted 09/05/09
Osa has gone home with
Deb in Colorado! Deb took this sweet boy to an event last week and
kept him overnight -- she couldn't quit thinking about him! She's
decided that she just has to have Osa in her home. Deb has volunteered
for the Rescue for several years. She has another dog, so Osa will
have lots of canine and human companionship. We are certain he will
be in very good hands! |

Riddick
Adopted 09/05/09
Riddick has gone home
with Laura in Loveland, Colorado! Laura has been spending time with
Riddick and just loves him. It is her childhood dream to own a Dane!
Laura currently has no other pets and no children, but she is able
to bring him to work with her twice a week and go home at lunch
to exercise him -- so he will be very well socialized. Riddick is
adjusting to his new home famously. He's already identified his
fluffy new dog bed and the joy of drinking directly out of the sink.
He's also a big fan of trips to Starbucks and meeting his new neighbors.
We are confident Riddick will be spoiled rotten and loved to pieces
for many years to come. |

Skye/Socks
Adopted 09/05/09
Skye / Socks has gone
home with Jean in Larkspur, Colorado! After picking him up yesterday,
Jean says he rode in the car wonderfully visited Pet Smart -- where
he walked in like he owned the place and immediately made friends
with everyone! He is already fast friends with Jean's neighbor's
Lab. She is looking forward to welcoming another Dane into her home
(she rescued Odie from the RMGDRI two years ago and since had to
put him down for medical reasons). She also hopes to adopt a second
Dane when the right match comes along. Jean currently has no other
pets and one child living at home, so Skye / Socks will be the center
of canine attention and get lots and lots of love.

Vega Bean
Adopted 09/15/09
Vega Bean has gone home
with Stephanie and Mike in Omaha! The couple had been approved for
a couple of months and were waiting for their perfect Dane to come
along. When they met Vega Bean at our event at Three Dog Bakery
last weekend, the wait was over! Stephanie and Mike immediately
fell for her as she was a "smaller" Dane -- just what
they were looking for. The next day, Vega met the couple's other
dog and they became fast friends! It was quickly decided that Vega
had found her forever home. Not long after her placement we saw
Vega Bean and her new family at PetSmart getting a new collar, leash,
toys and a raised feeder. Vega Bean is in wonderful hands and will
get lots of love, cuddles and walks! |

Lucy/Sissy
Adopted 09/15/09
Lucy/Sissy has gone home
with Curt and Jill in Arvada, Colorado! The couple currently has no
dogs or children, but they do have a cat. Curt and Jill spend most
of their time outdoors and plan to take their new friend everywhere!
They also plan to join the meet up group, which is good as Lucy was
a well-known and well-liked member of that group with her previous
owners. The couple is also considering volunteering -- so hopefully
we will see her often! |

Athena
Adopted 10/05/09
Athena has gone home with
Mark in Broomfield, Colorado! Mark currently has no other pets but
his brother adopted a Dane from the Rescue last summer and lives just
a few blocks away -- so Athena will have lots of big breed company!
Not to mention lots of playdates ... camping trips ... hikes ... walks
... and more! We are confident she is in very good hands. |

Lisa and her husband in Parker, Colorado! The couple both work from
home most of the time, so this sweetheart won't have much alone

Dane soon. They also have a home in the mountains that they visit
often -- so Suri has two exciting new homes to explore! |

Juda
Adopted 10/05/09
Juda has gone home with
Zach and his fiancee Diana in Omaha, Nebraska! Zach has been approved
to adopt for quite some time and was just waiting for “the
right one” to come along. He and Diana visited our booth on
more than one occasion and were keeping track of the possibilities
via the Web site. When Juda met Zach, it was a real hit! Zach asked
a lot of good questions, interacted with Juda and hung out for a
while. Then he made a couple phone calls, loaded Juda, and headed
right for PetSmart for some new toys and treats!
Zach has no other pets, so Juda will be spoiled rotten. Zach is
also cycling enthusiast and a runner, so Juda is in for lots of
exercise -- exactly what this energetic boy needs to stay happy!
We have already seen Juda at an event. He, Zach and Diana are a
perfect match. |
