Adopted Great Danes - Page 1

Listed below are the Great Danes we have placed this year.

Rose

Adopted 1-2-12

Rose has gone home with Pat & Marianne in Draper, UT. They have a son who is away at college and no current pets, so Rose will get ALL the attention.

 

 

Atticus

Adopted 1-5-12

Nickolas (formerly Atticus) has gone and stayed home with his foster family! Rob his wife Jennii are long-time RMGDRI fosters and so excited to bring this sweet boy into their family. They also currently have a Bassett Hound and two sons, ages 14 and 17, so Nickolas will get lots of attention and have a four-legged companion to pal around with.

 

Astro

Adopted 1-5-12

Astro has gone home with Michelle and Eddy in Aurora, Colorado! Astro met his forever family on his home check and the instantly fell in love with him. He will have a Lab sister and two cats as four-legged companions. We are confident this sweet boy is in excellent hands.

Samson

Adopted 1-7-12

Samson has gone home with Megan in Denver, Colorado! Megan works in a children's hospital and is looking forward to coming home to a canine companion. Samson will also have a feline companion to share his long, relaxing days with and can expect frequent trips to the dog park across the street! We are confident this sweet boy is in excellent hands.

 

Rufus

Adopted 1-7-12

Rufus has gone home with Lori and her family in Erie, Colorado! Rufus will share the company of a American Bulldog mix sister and get plenty of activity with the family's 11- and 14-year-old children.

Mya

Adopted 1-10-12

Mya has gone home with Louise and her family in Guffey, Colorado! The family currently has another dog, Rigel who was also adopted from RMGDRI, for Mya to pal around with. What's more, Louise is an artist who has donated numerous sculptures to RMGDRI, and she thinks Mya will give her inspiration for future sculptures. The family met with Mya the other day and it went so well they took her home on the spot!

 

Jeremiah (aka Chip)

Adopted 1-12-12

Jeremiah (aka Chip) has gone home with Roxanne in Greeley, Colorado! Roxanne also currently has an older Husky named Brandy, and after they met Chip last weekend they just fell in love. What's more, Roxanne works from home, so Chip will not be lonely often. She is looking forward to working with RMGDRI over the next few months to get Chip’s surgery accomplished. We are confident he is in loving and caring hands!

Moli

Adopted 1-21-12

Moli has gone home with Guilford and his family in Denver, Colorado! The family has previously adopted two Danes from RMGDRI and Moli will be their third! She will be spoiled rotten alongside her Dane sister with daily walks and loads of well-deserved love and attention. We are confident Moli is in excellent hands.

Patches

Adopted 1-21-12

Patches has gone home with Kirsten in Fort Collins, Colorado! Kirsten's sister adopted Sheba from RMGDRI in 2009 and Kirsten felt it was time to welcome a gentle giant of her own into her home. After meeting Patches, she instantly fell in love and the rest, as they say, is history! Patches will have a Norfolk Terrier and a Siamese cat as siblings, and lots of love in her life!

Duke

Adopted 1-21-12

Odysseus

Adopted 1-21-12

Odysseus has gone home with Martina and her family in Fort Collins, Colorado! They met him over the weekend, immediately fell in love, and just had to take him home right away! Martina has two teenage sons that are sure to keep Odysseus on his toes!

Nukes

Adopted 1-28-12

Nukes has gone home with Robert and his family in Bellevue, Nebraska! Nukes will have an 11-year-old Welsh Corgi to spend her days with, as well as a cat who thinks he's human! Robert and his family have no children, but treat their furry babies as if they were their own flesh and blood. We are confident that Nukes is in excellent hands and has a lifetime of love ahead.

Gunner

Adopted 1-31-12

Gunner has gone (and stayed) home with Andrea in Utah! After fostering Gunner, Andrea just couldn't bear to let him go! Gunner will be living with his new Dane sister, Maddie, Doberman brother, Zeus, and Guinness, Andrea's permanent foster. What's more, he will have Andrea's two sons -- ages 14 and 23 years -- to pal around with. Someone is home most of the time and Andrea's dogs go with the family everywhere. Gunner will be attending RMGDRI events with Andrea during this summer months, so he will be a great ambassador for the Rescue. We are certain he has nothing but a lifetime of love in store!

 

Jax

Adopted 2-1-12

Jax has gone home with Valerie and her family in Springfield, Nebraska! He will have a female Dane to pal around with, as well as three older children to keep him company. We are confident he is in excellent hands!
