Instead, this sweet, 5-year-old Great Dane is waiting for a forever home, hoping someone will look past his age and see the gentle soul behind his beautiful harlequin coat. Maverick isn't asking for much. He's happiest lounging beside his people, soaking up affection, taking leisurely walks, and enjoying the simple things in life. Once he feels safe, his affectionate nature shines through. Maverick has a few age-related medical needs, including arthritis, allergies, and some skin and dental care. None of those things define him - they're simply part of growing older, and he deserves a family willing to help him stay comfortable and loved. Maverick has already spent too many nights without a family to call his own.
